The steel was to be annealed and it was not. When I tried to cut it,It completely ruined my bandsaw blade .Plus the steel was warped to begin with. Now i have steel I cant use and Im out a bandsaw blade because the description was a lie!!

I made myself some great throwing knives out of this, was able to easily quench in water with all 4, great steel even if its thin

This steal hasnt been softened at all. It is in no way shape or form ready for a saw, drill press, or belt sander. Misleading product description

The product is good, its 1095. No cracks or scratches on it. 1095 forges easily and is good steel, thats about all I can say, as it just a billet.

This was perfect for me, it cut well with an angle grinder and was packaged perfectly!

The steel is great. Once you anneal it.

They look good but too hard to use files on and drill into but not so hard that I was able to fix the bend in it without heating.

Really nice clean steel. Each piece is wrapped individually and nicely packed together to protect during shipping. Very clean which produced very nice blades.

Not an expert knife maker, but I am very please with the one I made. Really good edge retention after the heat treatment. I would think is good steel

This product served me well for hobbyist knife making. They came straight and it was completely rust free. Each bar was individually wrapped which was a plus since I only make a knife every few weeks. I can confirm that they hardened well since I could drill through them easily when raw, but it ate through a couple drill bits on one knife when I forgot to drill holes before heat treating.
