> 3 dayEach billet has a pretty decent curve to it. Surface finish is nice, but as a knife maker this bend kinda screws me over.

> 3 dayActual dimensions were 12 (almost exactly), x 1.493 x .160. So it wasnt quite as wide as advertised. However the corners were cut very square and werent rounded over like other steel I have used in the past. This means I can push the spine all the way to the edge instead of losing some width to compensate. So even though this is 0.007 too small, the usable billet of steel is the same effective size as others I have used. All three pieces are exactly the same as each other, so clearly a consistent product. Packaging was great & all were unblemished & rust free. Pretty happy overall.

> 3 dayIncorrect description. The bars i received were not annealed so could not be cut until that was done.

Greater than one weekI got these for my teen son who is starting blacksmithing. I may should have done a bit more research beforehand since this isnt exactly beginner steel but is good quality steel for now. Were excited to see what type of knives he makes!

Greater than one weekDefinitely the most professionally packaged steel I have ever received. I look forward to working with it. So far, very impressed.

> 3 dayYoud be a fool to buy mild steel bar at this price. Go to your local custom fab / industrial fab shop and pull steel out of their bin. Youll get stainless, aluminum, and mild, and toss a 40 to the boss man for metal that wouldve cost you 200 + for.

> 3 dayThe steel was WAY too hard, but two stars because it was packaged very nicely.
