06-06-2025I use a laptop in lieu of a desk computer at my work-desk. It has one USB on the side next to the video output, and one on the opposite side that is hard to get access to on my cluttered desk. I also have an old desktop computer on the floor that I leave powered on with some old programs and files that I often need to access. The USB hub allows me to connect my printer, external keyboard and mouse all in one plug-in cable. I can swap out computers in a few seconds now. And I dont need to unplug my keyboard when I need to connect the printer anymore.

> 3 dayI dont know why but the USB plugs dont fit all the way in, flush with the edge of the splitter. They still work though, and I appreciate that. This way I can run wireless mouse and keyboard AND charge my phone at the same time. I havent tried data transfer other than above mentioned interface. So I dont know its speed or ability to handle an external drive yet. But its doing what I bought it for just fine. Thanks!

> 3 dayThe thing works fine on my old Win7 machine, but most of my computers run Linux. The description doesnt say anything about working in Linux, but it is such a simple device and I cant imagine why it doesnt. It could be a flavor issue. I run Ubuntu exclusively. Perhaps the device will function on a different distribution of Linux, but Ill never know.
