I used this for prep with a low speed buffer before applying Raptor rubber coat. It worked wonderfully for the job and looking at the bristles afterwards I should be able to use it for quite a few more jobs! Would recommend!

This thing is awesome! First used it to scuff my truck bed before spraying in a liner. Since then I have used it for a lot of projects from cleaning aluminum to removing adhesive from a deck hatch. Tough enough to clean what you need but soft enough to not destroy what your working on. Very durable also.

Rocks? You just need a low speed angle grinder/buffer so you dont eat bristles. Looking to skuff truck/Jeep/topper/tub/boat for bedliner prepping? Then Buy this guy, the bulk of the brush in concert with your rotary tool is the only limiting factor, but itlol get you 95% on a Jeep tub in 95% less time. Then its onto the red scotch bright or sand pads for the rest.

You you make sure your speed is set for slow it will work nice taking the shine off of trailer or truck bed to get ready for spray on bed liner. If you try to run this fast it will go bad in just a few mins.

I needed to lightly remove some areas of stain that was peeling on my log cabin. After pressure washing, not all of the peeling stain came off so I was left with the option to wire brush. I purchased the 6 cup and purchased a cheap variable speed polisher from harbor freight. This cup will last longer than the polisher. I went over my entire building about 1500 sq ft of logs and it hardly showed any wear. I will say you definitely need a variable speed tool or this thing will most likely come apart over about 3500 rpm. I ran mine most the time around 1500rpms. Works great and gently removed the flaking stain and with more speed/pressure, sanded areas clean back to bare wood.
