I used this brush to remove dry carpet glue from aluminum boat. Worked better then a wire cup without gouging or smearing aluminum. They do wear out so if the project is large 2 might be necessary. Wish I would have found this brush sooner. Recommend

First, this is actually about 4.5 in diameter which, for me, is better. I put this on a slow speed angle grinder and used it to clean a slate bathroom floor and a travertine and slate shower in about 15 minutes. The mineral deposits disappeared along with ten years of accumulated soap residue. After re-sealing the shower the floor looked like new. Had similar results in the kitchen. Dont clean grout without one. My angle grinder was running at 2,200 rpm. Id go a little slower if I could.

At first this looked like a great product but after first use it started falling apart. Brisle started flatening, or falling off. Did not really do what it was ment too had to go back to braided wire brush. Tried on chasis, fenders, rims and body parts that had bondo this brush could not take even light material like loose rust off

This thing worked great for sand/scuff prior to bed lining. Only negative is the bristles have spread outwards like I used a lot of pressure which I did not because this thing was taking paint off just by resting it on the surface so now if I need to get a spot of rust off I have to lean the grinder to its side but it definitely beats having wire brush bristles coming apart and piercing thru skin. It could have been my Dewalt 6 angle grinders 9k rpm that spread the bristles. All in all I recommend this product.

Was searching for nylon abrasive brush didnt realize till I was looking at the package that it doesnt say abrasive anywhere. Tried it and sure enough, it will clean well but it isnt abrasive.

Good for sanding the back of pick ups for bedliner prep. The reason for four stars is the cups is s little hard to navigate opposed to the smaller 4 inch heads but the six inch head does cut faster.

This is a good product for scuffing up or sanding. you have to spin it at its recommended speed or slower or it melts away quickly and will transfer the plastic to the surface. its a very aggressive and hard to control sanding action, any highspots were stripped off quickly. it has a lot of torque as it flattens out to 8 inches when you spin it. You dont want it to be flat. The slower it turns the better it sands. The brush fits into the corners and curves well and you bear down on a little to fit into dents. Use safety gear / a good dust mask and sand outside - it makes dust. Used yard blower to remove most of dust. I used a Harbor Freight $20 angle grinder which is not the correct tool and toggled the power switch to spin slowly. This put stress on HF angle grinder and and it was OOC after doing the bed scuff and 6 dents that needed to be done . I accomplished stuffing the pickup bed truck in about 1 hr. Using the wrong power tool to run it It was well worth it. Still have 3/4 of brush left. I was prepping bed for DIY $100 herculiner coating; due to unseasonable exceptionally freezing cold weather= I could not keep my garage at a stable temperature. Bed was sprayed with base Line-X. My friend is happy because were doing his truck with free DIY coating and hell supply refreshing drinks.

It melts slowly and will leave a film on whatever your trying to scuff up
