> 3 dayFirst, this is actually about 4.5 in diameter which, for me, is better. I put this on a slow speed angle grinder and used it to clean a slate bathroom floor and a travertine and slate shower in about 15 minutes. The mineral deposits disappeared along with ten years of accumulated soap residue. After re-sealing the shower the floor looked like new. Had similar results in the kitchen. Dont clean grout without one. My angle grinder was running at 2,200 rpm. Id go a little slower if I could.

19-11-2024I started sanding my truck bed with sand paper, brushed wire, etc. It was taking forever. It took me 3 hours just to get a 3x3 area done. I know the pros must have a better method. I did a little research and this is what they use. You can do a whole truck bed in less than an hour with this thing. A regular side grinder turns way to fast for this. You need either a buffer type sander or a side grinder with a variable speed. Like 2000 rpm max. 1500 rpm is even better and more controllable. It doesnt take too much paint off, but it can if you stay in one area too long. It will take off loose paint and it scuffs rust enough to treat it with rust converter spray. Its the perfect tool for scuffing a truck bed. I dont know why these things arent a common thing to find. They should be sold right next to the bed liner paint in every store that sells the stuff. You still have to sand corners that the brush cant reach by hand but this is so much quicker and it really roughs up the bed for good adhesion. Prime the bare spots with a good etch primer or metal etch, clean the bed really good with a degreaser, ajax, purple power, dawn dish soap, then clean with the reccomended solvent, then apply your bed liner. I wouldnt use this for a thin paint because it leaves some deep scratches, but for a bed coating, it gives it lots of tooth for adhesion.

> 3 daySanded the bed of my new truck with this product and I couldnt be happier. Conforms well to different textures and it did an outstanding job in scuffing up the surface to apply my spray in bed liner. I would highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI purchased this to use on wood to remove old finishes, although it did do that pretty well, it would have been better if it contained some engrained abrasives to help with the job. For the price it will work and has held up fairly well during this testing. I do understand this is not what it was advertised as the primary use, so I am not disappointed with the product.
