> 3 dayNot much to say about a switch, it directs your digital traffic. This is a decent unit, the POE works well, it is plenty fast, I think it is a bit faster than my previous switch. I like the security features that are built in, even though I will never use them. Im going to use this just as a standard network switch. The main focus of this switch is running multiple POE IP cameras or a mix of standard and cameras. Cant go wrong with is switch.

> 3 dayThe Real HD switch is perfect for my project. Initially the switch will be used for POE and regular devices within the range of Cat6 RJ45 copper cables. Very soon I will be expanding the network and moving devices to another building which is out of range of copper cables. So the SFP port will be used with Single Mode fiber. I tested the RJ45 ports with non-POE devices and they worked perfectly. The switch is powered by mains AC (110V). I have yet to try the VLAN feature but need to research how to do that using this switch and what it will offer my projects.

> 3 dayAs our family has been upgrading security system for our homes and family vacation sites, weve been getting new PoE switches throughout the year in 2022. I dont really know much only what my father, grandpa, and brothers tell me after testing them out. Anywho, weve had PoE Texas, Stemmo?, and a couple of other brands (whichever became available to me through the program). So far, none failed on us after more than several months of use. This is the newest addition, and this one is for my sisters home as she try to put more security cameras up all around the house (she liked how our grandpa set up security system around our cabins at the vacation site and tries to mimic it I guess haha). I brought this over several days ago, and my brother in law set it up (if you can even call it that), because its plug and play device without the need of a complex setup. And (even) With 300W (mine are 370W), this switch successfully powdered 8 IP cameras with IEEE802 that were installed. All are up & running now. The material didnt feel cheap, and seems like decent quality. I guess the final verdict depends on its durability. I will definitely report back if this one fails unexpectedly :) I would say this one should be one of three final options you should consider if you are looking at 16 port PoE Switch.

> 3 dayIve been running this POE switch for over a month on my 4 camera security system. The cameras are Dahua PTZ models that have infrared lights effective up to 150 feet. The PTZ functions and the infrared lights use more electricity than just standard low rez cameras. This switch has been 100% reliable since I installed it. The switch this one replaced could not keep up with the demand of my cameras at night time even though the specs were almost identical. This switch has no problem keeping a strong steady stream back to my router which is about 100 feet away. I like it so much, I ordered a second one to keep for a spare. Great switch at a reasonable price!

> 3 dayNice, active, 4-port switch. I will use this to upgrade from battery powered security cameras to PoE cams.

> 3 dayIt is nice having two SFP gigabit uplinks for this switch so I dont have to use one or two of its 16 ports for uplink(s). The switch itself can support up to 300W with each port able to deliver up to 30W, however you cannot pull 30W on all ports at the same time. The switch is good for remote security cameras, IoT devices, or other smart devices/computers that use PoE+. It is a large rackmount switch, so would not always be the best choice for home projects unless you have a place to put it.

Greater than one weekPackaging - nice, protected box. No issues. Appearance - clean look, well built. Usage - I do NOT have a use case for PoE, but did need 5 Gbe ports for a streaming video setup. Worked fine…a switch is a switch. Not seeing any issues with packet drops or frames. Value - this is an affordable 8 port solution that has PoE as a bonus. Not particularly ‘smart’…no SNMP, management shell, but not bad. Recommended.

> 3 dayMoved our entire camera system to this & everything looks to be fine so far. Switch runs quiet. The maximum speeds are a huge advantage as well. If youre used to do corporate IT then do note that this switch doesnt have a lot of advanced configurations like one would be used to.

> 3 dayThis router was super easy to set up and it worked great out of the box. The language on the unit was easy to understand and you knew exactly where the data cable would go for the input. The four output ports all worked without an issue.

> 3 dayThe Real HD 4 Port Full Gigabit PoE Switch with Fiber is a steal at this price point, in my opinion. I love that it has the VLAN switch to insulate your devices against being hacked or any roving eyes that may gain access to your network. Im not a fan of wireless networking because anyone can grab your signal with a sniffer. And, you certainly dont want to give unintended access to one of your neighbors accidentally. A VLAN prevents all of that. Amazing that the switch offers SPF on an unmanaged switch, too. Good product!
