25-04-2025Great little POE switch. Installed it out at the detached garage. Ran fiber to it to create a backbone network with speed back to the house. Let me expand my camera coverage as I then added several cameras by POe to the switch. This gave more coverage to the camera network which is a good thing. So its a handy little switch to expand an already existing network with. Simple and easy.

> 3 dayThis switch came neatly packaged with the switch itself, a standard D-power cord, a 2-Year Warranty card with a QR code to register it, and a small general instruction fold-out. Initial impressions were reasonably good considering the price. The construction feels solid, cables click into the ports firmly without being overly snug and the ability to power it with just a standard power cord rather than a DC Adapter is very nice for a desktop switch. With the switch in default mode (as set by the slide switch on the front) the four ports provide 48v POE+ at 1Gbps and happily powered and connected a Ubiquiti UniFi AP Pro Access Point I had along with a notebook on one of the other ports. The switch also includes a 1Gbps RJ45 Uplink port along with an SFP port which can take up to a 1Gbps Fiber Module. The instruction sheet is very basic and general to a number of the manufacturers switches, but as this is a basic unmanaged switch its operation is pretty straightforward. All in all this is a very handy little POE desktop switch and offers a good value for the price.

> 3 daySo to get this out of the way first, I did not have an immediate need for PoE, but was looking to expand my switch capacity in my basement in preparation for eventually getting my cameras and knowing they will be wired down to the basement. The unit came packaged well, looks good, and appears to be of solid construction. One downside to me is I would have liked to have wall-mounts on the bottom of the unit so that I could easily hang it from the wall. To me this is the only reason I wont be giving this a 5 star rating at this point. It seems like a bit of an oversight to me. To be perfectly clear, the listing didnt say that it could be mounted, but I guess I had an expectation for virtually every device like this to have mount points on the bottom. I replaced my 5 port switch that was being fed by my fiber router, which also connects to two ethernet feeds to my mesh network. I havent noticed any sort of decrease in performance, no weirdness like dropped packets or anything. But then again, a switch is pretty much a switch, so I wouldnt have expected to have anything work any worse or better in terms of ethernet switching. Once we get the cameras ordered and installed and use this for PoE I will update the review.

22-04-2025This is a well-built, solid switch. My initial test showed 51.4 volts. It should handle my cameras quite nicely.

> 3 dayA great little POE switch! It had plenty of power to run my 12 cameras without any issue. I am really glad that I went with this one for a great price.

21-04-2025Surprisingly great switch. For the price having a full 16 port 10/100/1000 and poe is an absolute deal. Works as you would expect, just simply plug and play. Overall would definitely recommend.

> 3 dayThis router was super easy to set up and it worked great out of the box. The language on the unit was easy to understand and you knew exactly where the data cable would go for the input. The four output ports all worked without an issue.
