> 24 hourUnit gives of an unpleasant electrical smell when pulling air into the house. Smell not noticeable when you set it to exhaust mode and push air out of the house. Structure seems sturdy, not sure how long this fan will last.

> 24 hourBought this again because on my old one from 2018 the exterior plastic vent is finally breaking down after many years of being in direct sun several hours a day for most of the year. The old fan still works like new but the exterior surface looks shabby from age no matter how I clean it. I will keep the previous one for a less visible window and this new one will take its place. Very good value for the money.

> 24 hourI almost returned it. Because it smell really bad the first week. My husband though doesn’t mind and after 1 week of consistent use it’s not too bad now. Easy to use, control is straight forward. Light weight to move to different window. Does move hot air out and cool air in noticeably better than standing fan. The expandable cover is a joke, but I don’t need it anyway, just wanted something that sits in the window without falling, not trying to create a airtight seal.

> 24 hourThis fan was just what we needed. It moves air efficiently and somewhat quietly. There is a noticeable hum but remember it is an electric fan. It has a remote that works well and a has variety of settings: fan speed, intake, exhaust , and circulate that work with the remote or manually. One thing that would have made it better would be having a thermostat.

> 24 hourI read Amazon reviews by customers on many window fan brands, many good and many bad..so I decided to take a chance and get this one. Within minutes of running it I smelled a smoke type odor that seemed to come from the control unit. Now I am aware many things new can have a factory type smell at first but I didnt trust it. I even googled the brand name (yes, after purchase) and only came up with it being an Amazon product, a little odd I couldnt find out more on the brand! I looked at the box and ofcourse its made in China (like most everything!) So I returned it immediately and began a new search. I ended up purchasing the Bonaire (usually a popular brand) even though that fan also got mixed reviews. I am totally delighted with this Bonaire! I live in a townhouse and although the weather might be nice outside a fan seemed like a good idea with intake and exhaust to pull in fresh air. And I even purchased another one the next day for the upstairs.
