> 3 dayI have a Holmes brand that is a dual fan 8 blades, very similar but no remote. The Holmes is definitely a better build, the Shinic plastic seems a little more flimsy, but for about $25 less in price it works well. I would recommend this fan. The Shinic seems to move air well, I like the option for exhaust as.

> 3 dayI really liked this fan for a while, after a few months it has begun to make some really loud noises no matter the setting. If noise is not an issue for you, this is a great buy.

> 3 dayI just received this fan and plugged it in. Controls are responsive and its very quick to change airflow directions. Havent tried the remote yet (Doesnt come with batteries). Note: My unit does emit a noticeable hum. If youre planning on using this in a quiet room, like a bedroom, it will be hard to miss it. The frequency of the hum is in like the 300hz to 400hz range. If you know about frequencies ranges, thats an area that our ears notice.
