> 3 dayI have a Holmes brand that is a dual fan 8 blades, very similar but no remote. The Holmes is definitely a better build, the Shinic plastic seems a little more flimsy, but for about $25 less in price it works well. I would recommend this fan. The Shinic seems to move air well, I like the option for exhaust as.

> 3 dayLooked pretty good, but when plugging it in you could see really how bad the fans were centered on the motors, wobbly on one to the point where I should send it back. The other issue is that the Exhaust feature is almost worthless, the fans do blow really well in one direction (moving air from outside to inside the house), but the reverse is almost no air movement. That is what I needed them for to pull air OUT of the room (exhaust) and it just really didnt move much air. I ended up flipping around the fan so the normal Cool mode would be pushing the air outwards and that seems to work fine. Not a big deal that the controls would be facing the outside, just needed it to work. Skip this if you need it to run in the exhaust mode, see if you can find a fan that is lower cost and one direction. Didnt try the remote so cant comment on that.

> 3 dayIt has a really annoying 120hz hum. I wouldn’t use it wherever people are located which is kind of the point of a fan. The noise is louder than the sound created by the fans themselves. Otherwise the remote is nice and the ability to change direction and intensity. But the noise is a dealbreaker

> 3 dayProduct is okay but not as powerful as what I wanted. I wanted to add another window fan for cross ventilation. This one was supposed to expand to 37 or 38 inches. It was difficult to expand the sides and didnt completely cover the opening of my window which is 36. Thought about returning it but its too much of a hassle. Ill keep it as a spare.

> 3 dayI had this fan for less than a week and it would power down and almost stop like there is a short in it or a power issue. Worked good for a couple days. They were quick to replace it and I am returning the other one that did not work. I get it things happen. Would definitely reccomend this seller. Fan does work really good.

> 3 dayRewriting my review on this window fan. I like the window fan, it works. At night it cools my apartment off. My only problem is the slides. They need better slides, the slides don’t stay in place, even when I lock the slides. They need better slides and slides that fit any window

Greater than one weekThis fan works well but its performance could be more. It does not have as much force as some others we have of the same design. The remote is touchy, it needs to be pointed at exactly the right place to operate the fan. It is fairly quiet but we have another that is quieter. Probably not for a bedroom.
