> 24 hourThe humming noise it makes is pretty obnoxious… I just put it in a few min ago and am contemplating returning and spending $20 for a better fan that I know is quieter.

> 24 hourWe got this to vent our kitchen when cooking to avoid smoke buildup. The microwave fan just doesn’t cut it. This fan has been a game changer! Keeps the kitchen nice and clear plus when it’s too hot I can use the ‘cool’ function to get airflow into the kitchen. Works great!

> 24 hourExceeds my expectations but the constant hum might be a deal-breaker for some.

> 24 hourRewriting my review on this window fan. I like the window fan, it works. At night it cools my apartment off. My only problem is the slides. They need better slides, the slides don’t stay in place, even when I lock the slides. They need better slides and slides that fit any window

> 24 hourI just received this fan and plugged it in. Controls are responsive and its very quick to change airflow directions. Havent tried the remote yet (Doesnt come with batteries). Note: My unit does emit a noticeable hum. If youre planning on using this in a quiet room, like a bedroom, it will be hard to miss it. The frequency of the hum is in like the 300hz to 400hz range. If you know about frequencies ranges, thats an area that our ears notice.

> 24 hourI bought this fan for the kitchen in the apartment where my mom lives. It has three speeds to control. It can exchange air and make the air circulate. Works great so far. My mother is very happy with it.

> 24 hourThis is a nice looking unit. It was easy to install. Unfortunately, the motor is not as strong as I hoped for. You can barely tell the difference in the speeds. And low is about the same as high. It is very quiet. Another disappointment is the extenders which is suppose to extensax 37. My window frame left to right is 35 and it doesnt extend that far. That particular window didnt have a screen so I had to find a screen to cut down long enough to cover theextra space not covered by the extenders. This is my kitchen window and needed the fan to pull cooking heat out. Im hoping to find one stronger so this one can be returned. Its been in the window less than 24 hrs. This is the 27thof June. Im using a new electric skillet which sits on the counter 5 from kitchen window and this fan. Exhaust does not pull smoke from the skillet with or without the lid on. And there is a pouring spout on one corner of skillet that is not covered by the lid. So smoke is removed thru that small opening towards the fan. Still no suction from the fan. This was the main reason to purchase. I read the reviews and decided not all their fans were messed up and gave them a try. Bad mistake.
