I did not expect this mat to be a heavy as it is. Theres deep grooves to catch minor spills and as stated it keeps its shape when washed on the top rack of a dishwasher. The price on this one had me concerned when buying it but when I got it I feel that I got my moneys worth.

Its a great size and perfect for putting in front of the coffee pot to catch all those spills.

I love this bar mat. Its higher quality than most I find at the bar while working. I just wish it wasnt so expensive so I can justify buying more. If you only need one or two for home, this is the way to go.

Works great, as a long time bartender I was always annoyed that when I washed my dishes by hand at home I didnt have anywhere to let them dry that wasnt some huge ugly plate holder. Mat is just like the ones at all the bars Ive worked in the past. So I ordered one for my counter. Sites right next to the sink and now I can let the dishes dry with ease. Super easy to clean after a few loads have dried on it. Fits a decent amount of glasses and plates. Wouldnt really want it any larger.. forces me to put the dishes away once dry.

This meets my need for a thick, durable silicon mat to use on my coffee bar. It’s heavy, a stable surface for sitting glasses on, and feels like it will last forever. It’s worth the premium.

I did a lot of homework for this one for my espresso bar before making the decision. Just got mine today. Everything looks exactly like what I expected. Appears to be a high-end product. I just rinsed it with soapy water before the first use. The reason I gave it four stars was the smell. A few reviews mentioned no smell at all but I smelled it. Not exactly like the rubber smell but strong enough. Just give you a heads up.

Larger nubs are sturdy and do not break. Does make cleaning a little tricky but not horrible. Worth the money for sure.

Imagine a large block of ice. Its scored with a serrated blade, then the knife is used as a sort of wedge while a dead blow hammer strikes it. The ice cracks, and the knife slips through the crack, cutting as it goes, until it stops suddenly against this thick silicone mat. Thats what Ive been using this mat for. I have no idea how many times its been struck by a knife or other sharp tool and I havent seen any evidence of damage to it yet. It collects a large volume of water melted from the ice blocks without spilling over onto my counter or floor, and it holds up to sharp tools which just seem to bounce harmlessly off of it. Its exactly what I was looking for in a work surface. I imagine if you just use it for pouring drinks, itll last a lifetime.
