Updated now that I got the right mat. Original review and edit below. Not as described, prongs are not elliptical, these circular ones on the mat I received would be more prone to breaking I imagine. Lays decently flat, edges are pretty straight with a slight waves. Mat weighs just over a pound and a half, not this ultra thick 3lb mat other reviewers have described. All in all a decent mat, but not as described, and not the ultra premium mat I spent a premium on. I will be sending this back, and give amazon a chance to send me the correct mat, I will update my review when I have a resolution. Edit: Amazon sent the correct mat this time, 5 stars. This thing is heavy duty, the definition of overkill. A premium product that I can imagine lasting a lifetime. Nearly twice as thick as the original mat and very heavy.

Bought this as a precaution in case the coffee pot is misaligned and there is spillage. (Yep, its happened!) Looks great on the counter top and is easy to move and wipe up. (With Prime), delivery was overnight. Arrived in perfect condition.

This is a truly better product. Plain and simple. Heavy weight so it does not slide easily. Nubs are oval instead of round as most rubber mats are... this is a great design. Feed back on product enhancement is to make different sizes and shapes. Of particular I tear would a diamond shaped mat that would transition countertops at a 45 angle. Also round and square and strip mats...

I ordered 2 sets of these. 4 pieces are for the coffee bar. And since they are heat proof, two pieces for my quartz counter near the stove. Thick, sturdy, easy clean. Don’t make the mistake of getting the cheaper thinner ones, because you will just throw those in the trash and then order these.

I have several expensive bar mats. Ordered this one because of the gray color which is unique. Quality is amazing. I already have high quality bar mats so I didn’t appreciate how much higher quality these were until I received. Wish I had bought only from this company.

This is a perfect drying mat for dishes and pots and pans and can easily be put away when not in need. Great for drying big items as well as delicate items like riedel wine glasses thanks to the larger pads. I just wish this came in a matching but more traditional bar mat size (4 x 18 or 4 x 24 or 6 x 24 or something like that) so I could buy one for my butlers pantry! Can someone make that happen???

The bar mat is thick and sturdy and the oval bumps provide better support than the small circular ones in cheap bar mats. I also recommend this company’s jiggers and shakers and the stirring rod has nice, smooth spirals.
