Very pleased so far with the cooling fan. It is well made and sturdy. It works like a charm kicking on and off as needed. In fact the fans are so quiet that I had to put a piece of tissue paper on top of the fans to see if they were kicking on and off and then watch the paper to move to see if the fans were running. So 2 thumbs up

Works great. Got it set on Smart Mode. Goes On and Off as needed. No more over heating issues .Bought the S-9 model and have it hooked up to my Scott 390-r receiver.

Anthem, Consumer Advocate Great idea to cool your stereo or live sound equipment. Automatic function is great; will automatically kick on when needed. Is indeed quiet and helps with wear and tear on hot equipment. Only criticism is the price. Well made, however, you are paying for what it does, not how its made or the materials its made from.

The 3 fans are just barely audible when the room is quiet. Money well spent to protect thousands of dollars worth of equipment.

Nice product makes me wonder why high end home theater receivers dont have a Built-in fan anymore.Looks like this is just another way to grab some more of your money to protect a serious investment. Watching John Wick 2 my new Marantz receiver shut off due to what I think was overheating.. I orderd this mid-movie while i let the receiver cool down..This fan seems to keep the receiver in check.

Love this fan unit, using it on top of my Adcom 200 watt stereo amp. Its keeping the amp very cool and runs about 25- 50% most of the time. It blends in very nice too, highly recommend this cooling unit for amps or receivers. I like it so much I bought a 2nd unit to keep atop my Yamaha receiver which runs warm too.

So for the last few months Ive been tirelessly working to turn my unused living room into the home theater room Ive always wanted. I finally finished a couple weeks ago and it came time to purchase a new receiver. I spent a hard earned couple weeks pay on the latest AVR Denon had to offer and got it installed and hid all the wiring. However to my horror after a few minutes of having my music shaking my house the top of my new receiver felt as if I could fry up a meal of sausage and eggs. It never crossed my mind how hot it would get inside the entertainment center where I have it mounted. Putting

A quiet fan system designed for cooling receivers, game consoles, and other AV components. Protects components from overheating, performance issues, and shortened lifespans. Programming features two thermal trigger modes and four speed control options. Contains three dual-ball bearing fans with PWM-controlled motors to minimize noise. Dimensions: 17 x 13.5 x 1.5 in. | Exhaust: Top | Airflow: 210 CFM | Noise: 21 dBA | Bearings: Dual Ball A quiet cooling fan system designed to be placed on top of AV components such as receivers, routers, game consoles, and AV cabinet components. Maintaining an optimal temperature for components prevents overheating, ensures constant performance, and extends their lifespan. The controller on the front of the cooling system features a smart thermostat trigger and fan speed control. The steel enclosure houses two dual-ball bearing blowers that pull heat out of the component and exhaust out the top. The dual ball bearings also allow this fan system to be mounted horizontally or vertically. Its low-profile design enables the unit to fit in tight spaces. Includes corded power adapter to plug the fan system through an outlet. Intelligent Programming There are three programming settings available which includes two temperature trigger modes. The fans can also be set to run continuously or be turned off. Four fan speeds are available for each active mode and will determine the speed at which the fans run when they are triggered. This ensures optimal airflow and noise levels for your application. Design and Construction Each system features dual-ball bearing fans rated at 67,000 hours and are certified by CE and RoHS. Fans contain a PWM-controlled motor used to minimize noise during speed variations and are suspended in mid-air with silicone mounts to absorb vibrations. A low-profile design allows the unit to fit in applications with a limited height clearance. Aluminum and steel construction enables additional components up to 30 pounds to be stacked on top.
