> 3 dayThis fan fits perfectly on top of my Denon x3300 in my cabinet. The T8 (as opposed to other units from AC Infinity) vents out the back of the unit so I had to take off part of the cabinets back panel so the air had somewhere to go. That wasnt too big of a deal, other than I had to undue all of the wires and cables on the back of the receiver. Oh well.

> 3 dayMy receiver was running at 104 degrees/F. Adding the aircom is keeping the operating temperature at 81/82 degrees. I ran several tests with and without this unit. The temperature will always rise without this unit to 104 degrees. Keeping the temperature down to 81 will help with the longevity of the amplifier. I was using an IR thermometer to validate my readings.

> 3 dayDoes exactly what I needed. My high-end Denon was getting extremely hot. With this sitting on top, it easily maintains a safe temperature.

> 3 dayMeh. I bought this to keep my new Marantz receiver cool. While it does keep the temperature down, I thought it was going to be really quiet, but I can hear it as the fan cycles on and off even though I have it set to only go to the second slowest step on the fan speed. If you set it to the highest speed, it sounds like a jet engine. Thinking it was defective, I was sent a second one that sounds pretty much the same. I guess thats just how these units are. Im not very impressed. The other annoying thing is that in Smart mode with the temp set to 90 degrees, it cycles the fan on and off in just a few seconds and the temp goes from 88 to 87, back and forth. If the movie or music you are listening to has a quiet section, youll hear the fans going on and off repeatedly.

Greater than one weekThe AIRCOM T8 is an excellet, well designed, well built product. My Denon AVR-X6400H reciever is in an enclosed cabinet and the T8 keeps it around 85 degrees max. I am impressed with the weight and solid feel of the T8. I also like that it has a USB port on the back that allows for additional AIRCOM Multi fans (if needed) to be powered and controlled by the T8. I would highly reccomend AIRCOM and if you need rear exhaust, the T8 model.
