This fan is quiet and very effective. It looks great sitting on top of my Marantz sr7012..... Great addition!

feels bigger form factor than most AMP/Receivers, making it look odd sitting on top.

They work great. I use three of them due to the enormous amount of heat the amps generate.

I bought this unit after the T9 failed me. The T9 is quieter and has bigger fans that exhaust upward, but did not cool my cabinet. With my open back cabinet thats otherwise sealed, a rear exhaust fan unit was the only solution. The T8 is working. I went from 105 degrees to 94 degrees when my amp is in standby. The fan is not operating at full speed, but unfortunately is still not quiet. One star off for that. Also, these fans are smaller than the T9s, not 120mm, so another star off for that. The unit is good looking, solidly made and easy enough to program. The price is high, but if the unit lasts 10 years Ill come back and retract this statement. Compared to other companies products this unit was my first choice.

I bought AIRCOM 78 for my NAD T778 receiver that was running a bit hot in my AV console. Love the small foot print, configuration choices, and ability to turn off display, auto settings. Ive had unit for about 3 days, runs smoothly, for my taste, I set fan speed at 2 and I found the noise level is just right, plus it does the job. Will buy another one for my zone 2 receiver.

Very happy with this purchase. My receiver was in a closed in cabinet and was getting very hot. I combine this with a rear exhaust fan and it definitely keeps things very cool. I would definitely recommend buying this unit as it has a digital display. And it doesnt cost too much more than the similar unit without the digital display.

Bought this to replace another cooling system that wasnt as efficient as this. Easy programming and ability to shut off display was impressive. Highly recommend for saving your expensive electronics from damaging heat.
