> 3 dayBought this and the S7 variant (same setup but with a controller and temp sensor) to slave together in my new media cabinet. The fans are quieter than my playstations fans and they work the way they should. I gave a 3 on the ease of installation just because of the saw work involved.

> 3 dayI’ve ordered three of these as I’ve moved to different homes. Such a great design. Offers the look of a custom-install. Very silent. The one criticism is the power supply.... it has an external “wall wart” plug. Which is never a good look.

> 3 dayWas going to use the item to replace a 80cfm fan and cut holes to fit this unit. After about an hour of testing my electronics started cutting off. I checked the temp and it was at 120F with the fan going 100% when the old fan was keeping it at ambient temp. Dont Waste your money on this unit.

I am a full time RVer and use these fans to cool the compressor on a residential refrigerator that I installed to take the place of a very troublesome Norcold RV refrigerator in our motorhome. Because of installing the refrigerator in a rather tight space I needed to insure the compressor didnt overheat due to a reduction of the free air space required around the refrigerator, The space below is a return air for the furnace so it is open to fresh cool air and I cut a hole in the plywood floor mounted the fans on the floor under the refrigerator. I have the temperature set point at 85 degrees (not the 82 in picture) and the fans have been excellent at keeping the temperature around 85 degrees F. when the refrigerator is running. The fans are very quiet. Installed the control panel in the end of the bathroom vanity cabinet that is on the opposite side of the wall from the refrigerator. This installation allowed me to install a 60 tall pull out pantry beside the refrigerator. Yeah said the wife. Extremely satisfied with purchase.
