AC Infinity AIRPLATE T7, Quiet Cooling Fan System 12 with Thermostat Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets

Perfect for my entertainment center that has the cable box, xbox, ps4 and surround sound box all together on the shelves. I was worried about them overheating due to poor circulation around the devices even with vent holes in the back and an open front. This fixed that problem and keeps my devices at a reasonable temperature. Also the temperature control panel makes it easy to see what the temperature is and adjusts the fan accordingly. Very quiet motor, I cant hear it at all even when its running full speed.

My Wife and I just purchased a new closed cabnit entertainment and I needed to find a way to keep my Original NES & PS4 Pro cool other than opening the door when I was playing. I found this product and upon inspection when fit and finish was top notch. there are two plastic gaskets that work great as a template to mark where to cut. Once marked I used a multi tool to cut out the openings in the cabinet then used a drill for the mounting the bolts. This set up comes with two ways to mount each unit, wood screws and nuts and bolts. when complete this product keeps the space cool even on lower seting the PS4 Pro has not had to fire up the back up fans with hours of gaming. Fans can not be herd even when on the high setting while gaming, control panel is easy to learn how to use and is very effective. Control unit also allows you to turn of the back lighting while still one for great night gaming and movie watching. I am a Mechanical Engineer and would 100% buy and purchase this product in future.

Great product works well!

I had an issue with my Denon receiver shutting off due to over heating while in my entertainment center. I took a temperature reading of 101F. Once I installed this fan and touch screen display, I set the temp to 74F, and placed it in automatic mode. That fan started flying! But, I could barely hear it. After about a week of getting it fine tuned, I found that 80F was the perfect temperature. I can use my receiver for endless hours without it shutting down. Even with my entire system shut down, and the fan at max speed, I can barely hear it. It is really the perfect product. I will be purchasing two AC Infinity AIRPLATE S3s in the near future to keep my XBOX One and Direct TV receiver cool. Great product!

Very impress by the high quality of this unit at such a low price. The installation was very easy. The control is very nice. I like the smart mode that adjust the speed of the fans when the temperature reach the set point. This prevent the fans the run full speed (in my set-up) that makes the noise level completely imperceptible. At full speed they can hear them a little but this is for an audio or audio/video cabinet, so the music or movie sound cover the fans noise without problem.

These fans were purchased with the intention of cooling my entertainment system.

Easy to install and addressed my concerns about excess heat in a closed audio cabinet with a high end receiver.

This was pretty easy to install. I had to reverse the flow and the instructions included made it seem much harder than it actually was, I basically had to ignore the instructions and just use common sense in how to route the power cord, etc and put it back together. The included templates made it easy to fit into the cabinet and the thermostat works great. The only complaint I have is that the fans are a bit noisier than I would like. I can hear them across the room.
