AC Infinity AIRPLATE T7, Quiet Cooling Fan System 12 with Thermostat Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets

I had an issue with my Denon receiver shutting off due to over heating while in my entertainment center. I took a temperature reading of 101F. Once I installed this fan and touch screen display, I set the temp to 74F, and placed it in automatic mode. That fan started flying! But, I could barely hear it. After about a week of getting it fine tuned, I found that 80F was the perfect temperature. I can use my receiver for endless hours without it shutting down. Even with my entire system shut down, and the fan at max speed, I can barely hear it. It is really the perfect product. I will be purchasing two AC Infinity AIRPLATE S3s in the near future to keep my XBOX One and Direct TV receiver cool. Great product!

I saw the reviews on this product and need a cooling fan for a small entertainment center that was overheating quickly and needed to do something about it. The product arrived and I found it very easy to install and of high quality. When I turned on the fan, I could barely hear it at all. I did find that I needed to adjust it to a higher fan setting to make sure the cabinet was cooling quickly. The digital display is awesome and I love having a thermostat that is watching the actual temperature and cycling on and off when it needs to. I switched the display off and now I have a cooling system there is there working on demand when needed and I cant even tell its really there. Awesome value for the price.

Extremely well made. Not silent but on the quiet side. FWIW - I can hear from 12 in a HiFi room during silent times.

I didnt think that my AV system generated enough heat to damage components, but I was wrong. I lost a great AV Receiver to what turned out to be heat related. Determined to learn from my mistakes, I picked up this AIRPLATE T7 along with an AIRPLATE S7 to provide cooling. Even with both AIRPLATES at full speed, the sound is barely audible when near the cabinet, and not at all audible from across the room.

Took about 5 minutes to install after cutting the hole out for it. Seems to be working great at reducing temps by 20 degrees f. Great temp controls.

I ordered 3 of these and a handful of the add-on fans. They work really well and look great. I have had them now for over a year and one of the power adapters died. Im not really surprised at the death as I have them in an environment that triggers on off cycles quite often. I couldnt find a replacement adapter for sale anywhere so I contacted AC infinity. They sent me a replacement with no questions asked. This type of customer service is rare. Any need of fans in the future will be an AC Infinity.
