Greater than one weekLoved this product, we bought this model and the S7 and then daisy chained them. The install was easy, and it looks good, loved the plastic template that allowed me to tape it to the cabinet so I can easily cut out and drill the appropriate sized holes, although the the template for control box didnt account for the screws in the back of the unit so I had to finagle it just a hair, no biggie. Either way you can control when and how strong the fans turn on at a touch of a button, cant say enough about this device and how I feel it protects my AV equipment from heat.

> 3 dayI think the overall quality of the fan is good however I didnt find it particularly effective for cooling our cabinet. The temperature differential between the outside air and cabinet temperature seemed a bit high. I suppose in a cooler climate or an indoor application the fan would be fine. I was expecting the fan blades to move more air.

Greater than one weekPerfect solution! I used to have to open the front door on my AV cabinet when I played games or listened to music with my old fans.

> 3 dayThis fan kit works well to keep my TV and associated gear running cool. The control panel has some nice features - allowing you to either keep the fan on all the time (at your selected speed), to have it controlled thermostatically (at your selected speed), or to have it respond automatically by increasing the speed to match the load. The temperature sensor is at the end of a moderate length of wire, so you can place it in a critical location. You can hook up multiple fan units to run off the same controller. And the fans and the controller come with handy templates for cutting out a hole in the cabinet.

> 3 dayMy HTPC cabinet was constantly running around 98 to 100 degrees. This was shutting down my cable box and causing other lag issues with my DVR. I cut a hole in the back of my cabinet and mounted the fan. Now it maintains a temperature of about 78 to 80 degrees, approx 20 degrees drop in temperature. Finally I am able to shut the door and not worry about my components acting up. Its very quiet that I forget its even there, I just set it on the thermostat mode and let it do its thing.

> 3 dayVery quiet and easy to configure. I purchased this for my 12U rack enclosure to provide some cooling, but it isnt enough with just two fans. However, this does not mean I will mark down the product; the product is excellent, but I made the wrong choice. I will probably add an additional pair of fans to increase the airflow.
