> 3 dayTo have the ability to turn ports on and off is very useful. I use this in an engineering lab that I have a bunch of sensors connected to it and to be able to power cycle the sensors just by pushing a button is priceless. Some of these sensors are so far embedded in my test setup that troubleshooting them by power cycling them without having to plug and unplug the USB cord is really very useful for me.

> 3 dayThis delivers enough power for my four Asus USB monitors. Other USB hubs couldnt deliver. Connected to it I also have a wired mouse, wired keyboard, an Elgato Stream Deck, an Elgato Stream Deck XL, a printer, and a UPS. I like the buttons. I keep the unused ports turned off. I also turn off all ports when my laptop is powered off.

Greater than one weekMore importantly, they have enough power to do what I need to be done without unplugging something else. While not something that I considered before buying, I really like the on/off buttons for turning off my remote cameras when Im not in a Zoom or Teams meeting. The unit is attractive and solid. I like that I can attach several large Passport drives and move stuff between them or make a copy of an entire drive. I went with the 16-port to get the heavier power supply. I may get one for the road, my traveling companion can take hundreds of pictures in a day and this would be nice for copying and uploading pictures back at the lodge.

Greater than one weekGreat customer support is always appreciated. 4 ports on my hub died, and a replacement was expedited to me no questions asked. Overall happy with the product, it definitely made my USB organization easier.

> 3 dayI just got it and hooked it up. I am using it strictly as a power strip for USB devices (not plugged into a computer as a PC USB hub). It looks like it will NOT work with old 30-pin iphones. It seems to work fine with the newer lightning cable and other micro-USB and USB-C cables but it simply will not charge an old iphone, like it doesnt recognize it. I have several old and new iphones so its not just the phone. I was hoping to replace other USB hubs but at least one of them will have to stay on. Everything else seems to work initially so we will see, not feeling too good about it so far. No issues with quality thus far.

> 3 dayBefore buying this hub I was using 3 separate smaller ones so the attraction of switching over to a single 16-port hub was great BUT Ive had other hubs in the past where transfer speeds or total functionality was bad to horrible. Im glad to report that after using this hub for the past few months, it has been rock solid! I currently have 14 ports in use (photo 1) - 9 external hard drives, 2 external SSDs, and 3 other items attached to it (photo 2) and everything works perfectly. Transfer speeds for external hard drives attached to it havent suffered and other USB items (like headsets, USB to sound adapters, etc.) have all been working without a hitch. This one gets top marks from me!!

> 3 dayMy computer only had one USB 3 port. With this hub I can use more items that require/work better on USB 3 without needing to move my computer to get to the one port in back.

> 3 dayI replaced a little 8 extension 2.0 strip with this. Could not be happier plugged into a 3.0 slot.

> 3 dayDepending on what devices you plug into this thing, you might run out of USB 3.1 endpoints. Most devices work great, as long as theyre not overly complex but others do not. I was unable to use my HOTAS throttle on it at all because I ran out of USB endpoints and it would randomly flip switches while I was trying to play a game, but the flight stick, from the same manufacturer works just fine. USB 3 has a more limited number of simultaneously connected devices that can be attached to a single controller so you might hit that wall, as I have and have to juggle cables to physical ports.
