04-06-2025OK, so I have a laptop as my main computer at home. When I go out with my laptop I just want to unplug one USB cord and I’m done. I have a; Keyboard Mouse Speaker power A mini external 4TB hard drive An 18TB external hard drive A USB Fax/Modem (yes, you heard right) A USB to SATA/EIDE cable An IPhone A connection to the hub on my monitor A USB video cam/mic A couple of USB flash drives A Magic Jack A headphone A USB to Ethernet jack And a USB power monitor I plugged them all in then cut the power to this hub and turned it back on to see how it would handle the load. It was very responsive. Right away, all devices were visible. I’ve transferred terabytes of data to my 18TB drive without incident. It’s about time a good hub is on the market. This one is good

> 3 dayDepending on what you plug into it worksgreat, or it freezes the system (which may recover when you unplug the culprit, or may require a power off reboot :o( - it doesnt like some USB drives (or USB adapters with drives in th) or some (most?) flash drives (bubblegum sticks?, whatever you call them)) the idiot lights that tell you if the sw8tches are on or off are hard to - you have to be right above them - I have to get out of my wheelchair to read them - of course you can pick it up, and yank on the plugged in wires, bat thats worse than a plan be sometimes you can get a device to function when you hard boott it, but then, if you turn the switch off, you have to turn it on again and re-hard bootb the computer - now that we have it well keep it, but cant recommend you buy it, unless you first find out specifically that everything you want to plug into it is going to work as desire - my success rate is about 1 out of 3 - biggest gripe is that I cant plug in a hard drive and expect it to just work - one printer works, one doesnt - and so it goes

> 3 dayBeen having trouble with my external hard drives losing connection and dropping from Windows 10. Tried a bunch of things - none worked. Finally replaced the USB hub with THIS HUB and everything is going great. Regularly get 140-180 MB/s transfers between drives even with the computer under heavy CPU Load with other tasks. The computer has been running for over a week without a single drive dropping requiring a reboot (with the old hub I never got more than a half-day continuous use before losing a drive). Very glad I bought this HUB. Works as expected and is better than the 1st hub I bought at about the same price.

> 3 dayIf your like me I like to connect things to my hub. This one is great but the only thing I am having an issue with is you have to turn off each individual port prior to powering on your computer in order for your computer to boot up. Otherwise, you will wonder what is wrong with my computer and start diagnosing a problem that really isnt there. So the best thing to do is after shutting down your computer turn off each port. Then after you restart your computer and login then you can start turning on each of the ports. Vala problem solved and all of your devices come on without any issues. No a bad hub for the price. High Speed Ports and works great on the network as well.

> 3 dayNice product but the system connectors when using the HUB in the horizontal position (length wise) the buttons are behind the attached device wires making it difficult to reach.

> 3 dayIf you switch off one of the ports and then turn it on again, the light comes on, but no power is flowing to the device. It cant even charge one android phone with nothing else plugged in. Look for something better.
