I absolutely love this monitor, sure it’s not the top of the line and only 1080p but gaming in 4K is expensive. Pros: - 1ms - 144hz - Price - Overall appearance - Sturdy stand - Easy adjustable screen Seriously I had semi low expectations when buying because it was cheaper than some but honestly it’s fantastic I love the stand it doesn’t move or rattle or anything it’s probably the best stand I’ve ever had for a monitor. It has small borders around the screen so it’s not massive and doesn’t take up a lot of space on your desk. Not sure why people say the colors looked washed or whatever to me they looked pretty good I took about 5 minutes messing with the setting and bumped it to 144hz cuz it’s in 60hz standard and it was 100 times better. Cons: - LED power light - Settings So when I first got it I couldn’t figure out what was bothering my eye thought maybe I needed to adjust to the 144hz. Figured out that when the screen is adjusted to the top of the stand the power light was like beaming me in the eye, super annoying. Easy fix cover it with a super small piece of duct tape so you can still see it but not right in the eye lol. The settings menu is a bit of a pain in the ass to manage around to changing stuff but honestly I set it once and never touch it again 9/10 so who cares. You have to go into the windows advanced settings to bump it to 144hz and you need a DP cable HDMI I believe can be set to 120hz. In conclusion guys honestly you won’t be dissappointed in this monitor I love it. Does everything I wanted in a monitor and I don’t get eye strain from long sessions of use which is awesome! Also the price makes it even more attractive. For people who gave it 1 star for a white screen, come on shit happens you got a bad unit, they replaced it under warranty, it happens. For real though if you’re like me who has to check 50 different same items trying to decide, just buy this one it’s great! EDIT: 3 years later and still going strong. Best 1080p monitor Ive ever bought. Not a single dead pixel, no flashing, still bright af, and its actually brighter than my Dell DG2716 and the white is more true lol.

I purchased this monitor in October 2017 and in 2 months, it will be 3 years old. All I can say is, wow. This bad boy still works as if I just got it yesterday. Response time, frame rate, picture quality, EVERYTHING is still spot on perfect like day one. I bought it to use with my XO X and it hasn’t let me down yet, I don’t expect it too tbh. Games like PUBG, CoD, BF, RB6, heck even NBA2k (as hard as that is for me to admit) and pretty much any game you can think of with more emphasis on fast gameplay and great graphics, runs smooth as butter. 100% worth every penny you’ll spend. I haven’t done much research on this now, but at the time I bought this, I was looking for a monitor that had the capability to swivel, tilt, and move up and down without spending a ridiculous amount of money. Not a single monitor I was considering buying had this. Look no further. This monitor is the all-in-one package you’d expect for the amount of money you’re hoping to spend to have everything you want. I am however planning to use this once I get a PC in the near future, but with the new XB series X coming out, that’s gonna be a tough one. I hope this review helps anyone who is looking at purchasing this beast! Enjoy!

Summary: This monitor was excellent for the first few months. After that, I got a dead pixel right in the center of the monitor. It shows as a red dot on a white background and is extremely distracting when reading text (emails, articles/blogs, etc). It likely would not affect gaming as much. Warranty Replacement: As other reviews stated, I contacted Acer and they wanted me to pay to ship back the monitor (UPS quotes ranged from $30-$50 for ground shipping depending on estimated size/weight of the package) and then they would repair it in 7-10 business days, then ship it back. I thought this was completely unacceptable because I run a business on this PC and cannot be without my monitor for an estimated 3-4 weeks. Thats basically telling me I cannot work for nearly a month while they try to fix a dead pixel. If youre ok with this warranty replacement process, by all means, get this monitor. But I believe this is an absolute ridiculous process between paying upwards of $50 to simply send a monitor back to the company where it should have been working in the first place, then also having to wait nearly a month to get it back. This will be the last product I buy from Acer. I never want to deal with this type of warranty process again.

Literally an amazing monitor, and for the price it makes it that much more satisfying. My only complaint is that Acers out of the box colors are bland and kinda bleak even faded a little. (This is super repeated on reviews I know). With a little tweaking and fiddling with the built in adjustment menu it’s easily fixed and you can modify it to your liking to extreme lengths. I messed with it for like 2 hours after I achieved my desired appearance just because it was kind of fun. The menu is kind of cool and well setup. Only reason why it was 4.5 out of 5 is because I don’t feel like I should have to mess with settings unless it’s really that bad out of the box.. which it kind of was - but now that I got it set how I like it, I’m in love.

Very freaking smooth, Gsync works amazing on my card (1660 super, and 1650 super) but the display port issue is super annoying. For the people who look through the reviews as guidance, I will say that one of the most annoying things about this monitor is that some times if u leave ur pc to go get something for a min, and the monitor goes into power saving mode (where it turns off the screen until u move ur mouse) some times it won’t turn back on, it says no signal but the pc detects the monitor plugged in, I found the best solution to be, turning off everything, unplug the monitor, turn the switch off, turn ur pc off, and turn the switch off, unplug the pc and hold the power button on the pc and monitor for 5 seconds to flush the power, not at the same time though, then plug ur pc back in and turn the switch on and do the same for the monitor, then turn on ur pc, should fix but not all the time, this issue kind of goes away after a long time of use, anyways the monitor is freaking awesome, and it’s very smooth, if ur picky about quality, then try a better resolution.

As another reviewer had mentioned, after about 7 to 8 months of use, now the monitor will occasionally just go black. You have to disconnect power, hit the power button to clear the memory, plug it back in and turn it back on. This works about 70% of the time. Other than that, the color accuracy is pretty poor. If youre playing games that have a lot of bright and dark scenes, youll either end up with washed out whites or lose all detail in blacks. This is especially present in games like Tarkov. If you buy this monitor I would suggest changing the gamma to 2.4 as it makes this monitor a little more usable. Overall, if youre playing games that have fairly consistent scene lighting like COD and youre wanting to try out 144hz for cheap, get this monitor. If you can afford something a little more expensive, I would avoid this TN panel and look at the newer 144hz 1ms IPS panels. P.S. The best thing about this monitor is the stand.

I got this to replace my 60hz Dell IPS panel (had brilliant colors, but slower response), and I am quite pleased since I play a lot of fast-paced games. nVidia G-Sync was very easy to setup (I highly recommend only using it in Full-Screen mode, I had some issues with windowed borderless in some games), and I get insane frame rates on my RTX 3070 with zero screen tearing. Pros: - Very fast response time - High frame rates - No screen tearing Cons: - Colors not as good as other panels, but this is to be expected since its a TN panel. This one is just barely a con because I was able to google and find good monitor settings to use.

Edit: A few things if youre having trouble!! *** If you arent getting 144 hz: right click on the desktop and select Display Settings. Scroll down to Advanced display settings. Now select Display adapter properties for Display X where X is the display the Acer monitor is at. Now select the Monitor tab, and change the Screen refresh rate to 144 Hertz. Select Apply and then OK and you should be good to go. *** If youre getting No Signal: first try updating your drivers. If you have an Nvidia card, open GeForce Experience to update your drivers. If that still doesnt work, buy a new DisplayPort cord and see if its that. Other than that, you might have to give Amazon or Acer a call. ============================================== Original Review: Mind you, I was coming from an 8-year-old 60hz monitor, but boy are they right when they tell you it is smooth like butter! I came from a 1920x1080 60hz 22 and upgraded to this 1920x1080 144hz 24. the two inches is so noticeable. I love the stand; its so easy to move around, and the up-down motion is ridiculously smooth. Like, its super easy to move up and down, yet it doesnt listen to gravity and slowly fall down? All in all, Im super happy with my purchase! What an improvement! :D
