This is amazing quality for the price. I am able to play any game I want at the highest speeds and metrics. I havent used the touch screen, but anticipate it would work just as well as everything else. Very glad I went with this computer.

I really like the product. It came fast too. I think a $900 laptop should have some sort of disc drive, but Im otherwise satisfied.

It slowed down tremendously after one week of use, and I only downloaded ONE game…

I bought this item last september. It was not working upon arrival. I then contacted amazon customer service and they sent me a few suggestions which did not work. I was then sent some contact information for acer warranty service and i have been unable to get into contact with them. Now for the past 6 months I have been stuck with a laptop that is broken.

Touch screen not working in some applications or features.

Después de unos meses de uso con este computador estaba trabajando bien hasta que hoy fui a prenderlo y los ventiladores más que todo el ventilador dela cpu está haciendo un ruido impresionante trata de quitarle el polvo pero aún así sigue sonando intensamente y tiene muy altas temperaturas intenté formatear el computador reinstalando los drivers y el problema no tiene solución necesito que me den una solución O que me devuelvan mi dinero ya que el soporte para este producto de momento que me han prestado es malísimo.

I loved this laptop. High speed with graphics memory but hard disk capacity is not enough for me

TL; DR: The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-53E5 Gaming Laptop is an entry-level gaming-capable computer. Its out-of-the-box specs are underwhelming, but some can be upgraded, like RAM and hard drive space. The RTX 3050 is the cheapest house in the fancy neighborhood. It’s a solid starter GPU for current games, but temper your frame rate and detail expectations. The Comet Lake i5 CPU is capable, but can run hot. Get used to the fans. Don’t pay more than MSRP, given you’ll need to fork out some extra money on ram and another SSD to meet basic storage needs.

I love this laptop, it is able to play almost every modern game at fps over 40 and most stay above 60 if their settings are set for boosting fps.

I bought this for my wife. Once I got the laptop I ordered a 500gb hard drive and 8gb of memory to add to the laptop. Acer included the hard drive cable to install a second hard drive, a very nice touch since the laptop only came with a 250gb drive. Installing them myself saved me some money. She loves the performance of this machine, the 144 hz display and is extremely happy with it.
