Greater than one weekThis laptop did not work out of the box. It had a loose cable on the motherboard that was preventing it from booting. The webcam has one of the noisiest images I have ever seen.

> 3 dayCame with a corrupted BIOS, which I fixed. BIOS was severely outdated, fixed. Came with 40 bloatware programs, also fixed. Had to configure 200 settings just to dual boot Ubuntu, another fix. Then I booted Windows 11 and Acers software BIOS corrupted again, which I fixed, again. By uninstalling Acers bloatware version of Windows and installing my copy of Windows 11. Worked for 2 weeks before corrupting Ubuntu to the point where I had to reinstall everything. Ive been using Linux for 12 years, never had this much of an issue.

> 3 dayGood laptop for playing games at medium settings at a steady 60fps on certain games. 8gb of ram is not enough though. recommend upgrading to 16gb of ram if you plan on playing games. Otherwise no issues when using it for the first time and runs great!

> 3 dayThis product generally just works well. It has a good build quality and all parts work well (The reviewers who wrote about bad charging ports didn’t read the instructions). I use this laptop for gaming and for CAD. I do all kinds of resource intensive things and I have yet to find something this laptop can’t do. Moreover, it is super easy to tear down and upgrade; I’ve upgraded the memory twice, adding an SSD into the open 2.5 inch SATA slot and another one into the open, second M.2 slot. There’s also an open spot for more ram when I get there. Everything is so easy to swap out, upgrade, and repair. Lastly, the screen has spoiled me and now all of my old, cheap monitors look awful and slow compared to this screen. Lovely little machine. Only grievance is a considerably short battery life of less than two hours, but if you plug it in, it performs amazingly. I have needed to get a cooling pad to run higher intensity programs though. All in, it’s a great machine for an even better price.
