I really shopped around for a laptop I could use for video editing and graphic design. The Acer Nitro 5 AN517-54-79L1 had decent reviews and it seemed like the best option in my price range. Well, the first one I ordered had problems so I had to send it back, then the replacement Amazon sent had the exact same problems so I had to send that back too!

Es una excelente maquina, puede correr cualquier cosa que le pongas, cualquier emulador y juego AAA sin problemas corre en Ultra hasta en QHD. Pero más que nada la uso para trabajar con múltiples programas a la vez sin tener nada de retraso. Gracias a su bajo precio pude comprarle 32gb de ram ya que los 8gb la estaban capando, si es extremadamente necesario que le agreguen mínimo 8gb extras, así como también les recomiendo comprar una base con ventilador para evitar que se caliente demasiado y cause thermal throttle.

The laptop would not charge when it arrived. This was not an issue with inserting the cable incorrectly as others have mentioned, but a battery issue. The laptop ran fine at first when connected to AC power, but would not actually charge the battery and would die when unplugged even after leaving to charge for hours before startup. The computer would think it was charging and the LED charging indicator would be lit, but it was not. I tried all of the typical software fixes like removing and re-installing the batter drivers, but it was a hardware issue. I was able to boot up from AC connection, but after trying to install the first round of software updates the laptop would not turn back on as it required 25% battery reserve to complete the update and turn back on, which obviously was not possible. Not acceptable for a brand new laptop.

Soooooo dissapointed. I finally pull the trigger on getting a gaming laptop and it doesnt work. It turned on once when i 1st plugged it in then auto shut off and hasnt turned on or charged again since. It wasnt even on 30min and all i was doing was lleaving it idle while using my phone to reset one of my passwords so i could use spotify on the laptop....the wall outlet works fine, have tried it with multiple things but the laptop wont turn on and the charger indicator isnt indicating...i logged into my microsoft already and now i cant even log out of it before i return it because it wont turn on. Also the refund takes at least 2 weeks.

Everything it was said to be. Battery life is a little on the short side even when youre not really doing anything. But other then that, cant recommend it enough.

Went to plug it in & set it up on arrival & immediately it would not turn on. Battery light wouldn’t come on when it was plugged in so I called Acer tech support & now have to send the laptop in to get repaired. Took an hour to take out of the box, figure out it was busted, & repackage everything. Now I have to wait for a shipping label, drop it off and wait 7-10 business days for a new laptop to be fixed. Not great quality control.

Pensé que solo estaba descargada, pero la dejé un buen rato conectada y jamas encendió.

Los juegos corren como debe ser. Gráficos sonidos, todo sin lag. Mi hijo Feliz!!!
