Todo bien hasta que revisé y tenia 2 ram de 3000 de 4 gb cada una ,pero trabajando a 2660 mhz se suponía que era una sola ram de 8 y quedaba un slot para el upgrade...

I bought this laptop to replace my old gaming desktop as well as be mobile with it as I travel. It worked great right out of the box. Setup was super fast and easy! Most games I can run at ultra settings! Video editing and photo editing work just great. I id notice some lag when I had too many tabs open when Im doing research but it may be software issues on my end. I intend to add another 8 GB of memory soon and pop in a 1TB SSD soon. This laptop works great! Battery though isnt the greatest but its to be expected on a beast of a machine!

If you were to play a high graphic game its pretty laggy no matter what. The fans are super loud too. I have had this for months and now its pretty much loud over everything I do. Even turning it on is loud. I would just like to say the fans get super loud not long after using. It plays just fine with other games that arent high quality but its still loud. The fans now are even loud when I am not playing anything. I could just be watching Youtube and there super loud. Over all its ok not the best. I would not call this a gaming laptop in my opinion its just super loud over regular games.

I STRONGLY suggest you shop eslewhere for a new laptop. Unless you like recieving a defective device in need of repairs right out of the box, and have two weeks to waste waiting for them to fix your brand new device. The computer is not working, Ive had it for a day now and it cant connect to the internet, at all. Im a fairly tech savvy millennial and after spending 2 hours on the phone with Acers tech support I was told they cannot fix the issue, and to send it in for repairs. Sending it in will take 15-20 days. This is a brand new laptop. I cannot afford to be without a computer for over TWO weeks. This is the worst review Ive ever had to give.

This is a great gaming laptop if youre lucky enough to get one that was built well. Unfortunately if you search Acer Nitro 5 Motherboard Failure, you will see numerous customers who wound up with bricked machines from failures either before or after the warranty expired. Buying this laptop is a gamble: it may provide excellent value, or you may find yourself regretting your purchase as I do. The gaming experience was excellent while it lasted, but their cheaply made motherboards are prone to failure and you may very well end up with a $700+ hunk of plastic.

We use this primarily for Steam games, and its been an excellent investment. It can run all of the games we want really smoothly, no lag, and the screen is beautiful. Its responsive and it looks nice. The battery life isnt great, and the battery pack gets hot if you have it plugged in while youre playing. Also the laptop itself runs hot while youre playing, so the fan gets loud. For the price, though, and the performance, those are minor things to me.

I didn’t even get to use it. Whoever was in charge of quality check seemed to have skipped this unit entirely. Neither intel or geforce had their drivers installed. Nitrosense was missing as well, and I spent a while trying to get them all installed. I bought myself an acer a few years back, it’s not my job to have to do this all myself.

Runs nicely for the light gaming I personally do. Not finding issues with it struggling. There was a physical aesthetic issue with the touchpad being popped up. A clip is broken that was securing it and unfortunately was that way on arrival. Touchpad and clicking function properly still.
