> 3 dayFantastic gaming laptop! This is a huge improvement over the Acer Nitro laptop in every way. The 144 hz screen is incredible and it’s hard to go back to standard 60 hz displays after using it. You can push your mobile gaming to the limit but be aware the battery life is not great. The fans can also get extremely loud when playing graphic intensive games. This is a great middle point gaming laptop for anyone looking to game on the go!

> 3 dayyoure going to have to do some messing around with the wifi drivers. be careful, you can screw yourself over if you dont do it right. so I recommend doing a lot of research and making sure you know how it works or going to a professional to help.

> 3 dayThe computer works amazing for everything I use it for - running my works virtual desktop, streaming on discord, playing in roll20, running casual games like stardew valley and the sims 4. However, the fans are ridiculously loud, even when the computer is idling. I read in reviews that this unit has loud fans, and I thought, how loud could they really be? They are ASTOUNDINGLY loud, it will make you reevaluate your previously held notions of loudness. Any time its on, even if youre just looking at it from across the room and not asking anything of it, It sounds like an ancient desktop tower that has been baking in the sun for hours and is on its last breath from a lifetime of mining bitcoins.

> 3 dayI received the laptop a couple weeks ago, and so far its great! Im relatively familiar with computers but by no means a whiz, and Im a moderate to heavy gamer.

07-06-2025Performs well, and not terribly loud. Marginal gains from overclocking at the expense of a dramatic increase in noise. Display is not quite as bright as I would like for a room with lots of natural light but the refresh rate is a plus. RAM and M.2 expansion is painless, however 2.5 SSD expansion is effectively impossible without finding the proper cable. After calling Acer, they pointed me to a third party that produces the proper cable. Too difficult to navigate their web page so I gave up. I have been through two cables from amazon, and they did not work.

> 3 dayThis laptop is a beast when it comes to photo editing. I can run PS, Luminar AI, and Lightroom at the same time and it doesnt seem to even bother this laptop. I suspect it would be great at gaming too. Starts up fast, stays fast, and is an overall great machine.

> 3 dayI had my old gaming laptop stolen and it was so expensive that I just didnt get a new one for a long while. I saw this one on special one weekend, so I just bit the bullet and grabbed it came very quickly and it is wayyy faster than my other laptop that was almost 5X the cost. after I loaded all of my games and work programs (I use a ton of programs for many companies) it still boots up in 3 seconds and the wireless internet is way faster. and the turbo mode button is nutsss. Anyway. Great buy.
