I got this computer one year ago for christmas, its been amazing except for two giant flaws. The battery life is terrible, it wont last an hour just using google chrome, no games in the backround no nothing. The other major flaw is that it overheats a lot just playing fortnite cod or even sometimes just minecraft the cpu will get to 100 degrees celsius its crazy the computer will get so hot it will hurt to the touch. This is not very important but the speakers are pretty quiet. On the other hand the picture is great, games run really smoothly the graphics card is great it works really well. Except for the battery and the computer battery.

We would have given this laptop five stars however it requires the addition of a card upgrade. This upgrade requires the general layperson doesn’t have the anti static strap or equipment to install it. We had to get someone with that equipment to perform the change. Should have been installed before the customer received it in my opinion. Other than that, we love it. Would purchase again.

This is a great computer. It comes loaded with Killer. Crazy fast. It came packaged correctly so that it was not damaged. I have had trouble with this in the past when ordering electronics online. Believe the reviews and the hype.

Overall, Im super pleased with this laptop, and I am also really glad I went with the model that has the 16GB DDR4 RAM and the 512GB SSD storage space. The screen has great resolution, basically anything Ive done on it is super fast, and for the price point, youre getting a lot of laptop.

Bang for buck, great quality. Absolutly love it and it has lasted me two years now.

Use it for gaming, university work and programming. This laptop can run triple A titles on the high settings

So far it’s worked pretty well for the last 2 days in regards to drafting in AutoCAD’s Civil3D 2020. I don’t game at all but after a couple recommendations by others who have used similar gaming laptops with a hexa core intel i7 processorS, 16GB or more of RAM & NVIDIA GTX 1660 series card I figured I would give it a try. 15.6” screen is a little smaller for drafting which a cheaper wireless mouse. Fans kick up speed occasionally when I’ve built a DEM surface with a lot of definition. But definitely a nice machine so far for AutoCAD Civil 3D usage. Should something change in my experience I’ll update later

As soon as I unboxed it got a good hour of screen time then kapoof it goes dead. Acer products always do this

My wife uses this laptop. Absolutely love that you can customize the keyboard lights. The keyboards keys look and feel great. Fans are quiet. Runs all the games she plays with ease. Beautiful looking laptop. Looks a like quality, feels like quality, and runs like quality. The software that is used to keep track of and adjust the settings on GPU, cpu, fans, lights, etc is easy to understand and use and provides a good overview of stats. No issues. Love this laptop. Would highly recommend.
