> 3 dayI was so excited to get my PREDATOR. I grabbed the Amazon box, opened it up and viewed my first bona-fide game system of this kind. Like a kid in a candy store, I could not get to my new experience fast enough. After opening up my holy grail of gaming systems, charging her up and hitting the on button....... I waited....... And Waited....... And waited....... Finally, she fired up and came to life. It was like having a lightning bolt rain down on you, yet, land gently in your lap. It was intoxicating for about five seconds. Thats when it turned off and never started back up. I called The Predator Premium Service line to ask how this could have happened and what to do next. Sadly, ACER told me, um, Id call AMAZON, they can help you better then we can at this point. HOLY SMOKES PEOPLE. I just needed a little PREDATOR love. Finally, I called AMAZON and was helped in the way that only AMAZON can help. Well see what happens with round two.

> 3 dayI bought this item for my grand daughter who is studying graphic design. She ordered this specific model and brand so there was no guesswork on my part. Shes delighted! Feedback I received was that this particular item is an excellent, medium (reasonably priced and functional) computer for graphic design purposes.

> 3 dayMy teenage son is a big gamer and was constantly complaining about graphics quality, lag and disconnects with the previous system. This computer works great with none of those problems on these performance hungry games. It is a perfect size, light and portable and the killernetworks feature really helps online gaming performance. The graphics are awesome and it is cool looking too. I also wanted a good computer for him to take to college in another year, with plenty of storage and decent portability for its size. We havent has many issues with Windows 10 as with previous PCs so Im crossing my fingers. It has been a happy purchase so far.

> 3 dayOne month after purchase, all 3 standard USB 3.0 ports started having issues. Devices plugged into the ports will disconnect unless the cord was oriented properly and precisely (possibly a lose connection?). Ive tried disabling USB selective settings, checking the drivers, and even physically trying to tighten the USB ports by pulling the USB port clamps up with a screwdriver. None of it seemed to have an effect.

> 3 dayThis laptop is absolutely incredible! It runs pretty high end games at medium to high settings wonderful! The keyboard has different modes besides blue and can be customized which is not something I’d expect for the price here!!! I enjoy this laptop a ton. I’d definitely recommend it! I would recommend you wait for it to go on sale cause you can get it for cheaper.

08-06-2025Had this laptop since 2020. Was a great laptop till it started having issues a year in. Unfortunately I was never able to get support with the laptop due to Acer having a database breach. They lost my serial number and thus I cant send it in for repairs. Not only that but this model is no longer listed on their website for support materials since 2023. So now I can no longer download drivers again. This thing has been having more and more issues. The mousepad is no longer functional. At this point I built up a gaming tower but it feels like a waste of money to buy a laptop that cant even last 5 years.
