    Great hardware/software, nonexistent customer/tech support

I bought this to play between college classes after homework until my main pc broke, everything you need to know is simple. It can run almost anything, just keep it on the charger with fans on max speed (If they are too loud you could grab one of the laptop cooler pads and it will be fine). It is 144hz but with some shooters the screen being tiny can be annoying. Storage is a little low but you can upgrade it very easily. Other comments mention defects, but these don’t seem to be a problem to me at all.

The monitor is fantastic. The 144hz refresh rate is amazing for gaming. The imaging is very smooth and noticeably better than 60hz on my tv.

I have a lot to say about this laptop, but I will try to make it brief. For starters, I would like to say that I have had this laptop for a week now and I upgraded from a 6 year old ASUS with a 4th Gen Intel 17-4500U and a Nvidia 745M. It was a very good laptop and I still use it for school work. But this thing blows it out of the water! I love this laptop, and im sure if you are a casual/intermediate gamer like me you will love it too.

After a couple months of using it, It had so many frame drops. The first month was great but then it started to overheat causing the frames to be bad

Im not going to wax poetic here -- I just wanted to put in a plug for this machine. Ive had mine for a little over a week and I just love it. The price is unbeatable for what it is -- GTX 1060, 144Hz screen refresh (!), lots of RAM, SSD... My only beef was the 250GB SSD, but I added a 500GB SSD into the 2nd slot for under $80.

I immediately set mine up to dual boot between Ubuntu (18.04) and Windows.

The most complaints I see on this laptop is overheating. I’ve always used a cooling pad with laptops and am using one with this laptop. It’s fine. I’ve played about 30 hours of Starcraft, over 100 games of league, and some wow. All in the highest settings. Never had an issue and the highest temp I recorded was 90 degrees C. If it becomes an issue later I’ll edit this, but for now I am super happy
