Greater than one weekWhat attracted me to this laptop was the processing power and speed. I need a new laptop for work and this one checked off everything on my wish list (with the added HDD). I read all the reviews and heeded the warning about overheating so I got a matching laptop fan and this laptop is so fast, the resolution is awesome, the back lit keys (only come on when plugged in) look so cool. We are still getting to know each other but I have the highest hopes for the Predator. Admittedly it has been a while since I bought a new laptop I am a little starry eyed. I installed the HDD with help of a YouTube video - NOTE: inside the box with your power cord is a tiny bag of 4 screws this is for the HDD installation. I highly recommend.

Greater than one weekThe monitor is fantastic. The 144hz refresh rate is amazing for gaming. The imaging is very smooth and noticeably better than 60hz on my tv.

> 3 dayStarted having issues 4 months in with it shutting itself down. Now it wont even read the battery and can only get it on while plugged in but gaming is definitely out of the question. Best part is the warranty by Acer expired the same month I bought it so I spent over a grand for a broken product that lasted long enough to be out of the Amazon warranty.

> 3 dayquality of the whole laptop is low. It breaks really fast. Overheating problem. Battery issue. Hard to get or contact warranty. it only last 1 year in my hand. Used for few hours playing and more of school works (canvas, google docs...)
