Good for game but not for other purposes it’s too heavy

Great gaming laptop with plenty of power. Battery is pretty good but youll want to he plugged in for gaming. My CPU temp easily reaches 98 degrees after five mins of gaming (except for civ V on lowest settings). I havent sent it back yet and it probably just needs a better paste job, but without that problem this would be a five star review.

Looks Nice and burshed metal surface on top looks premium but on underside plastic feels cheap. From price point of view regarding hardware its a good buy.

Pros: Does all it claims to do. Highly advise buying a 1tb or higher sd drive as the 128 included fills very fast.

When I first buy, it seems good. I tried the laptop playing games in the first couple of days. After that, I used the laptop for programming and coding exercises. However, in a week, windows freeze and did not work. even though I restarted the number of times, the computer usually stopped working. I returned this item.

Ive owned this computer for about 2 years now, and at the time I purchased it, it was fantastic. Obviously as the years go on, games become more demanding, but at the time of release this computer could keep up with many games. I use this computer to live stream, edit YouTube videos, and play games. This laptop, even with a GTX 1060, is more than capable for basic editing and just playing games. Live streaming and playing games however is a different story, which is to be expected. Running a triple A game along side 7 other apps in the background while streaming is incredibly CPU and GPU intensive and it shows in the performance. Personally, I havent had any issues off stream with performance aside from the occasional frame drops, up until the past few months. The computer is now overheating VERY quickly, even in a well ventilated area, which is understandable considering what I put the machine through. However, it has gotten to the point now to where even just playing a game like minecraft, which at the basic graphic settings isnt demanding, it clocks up to 85 Celsius within 30 min of playing. If youre looking for a gaming laptop, I wouldnt purchase this particular model, especially at the price point. The newer ones have a faster CPU and GPU for only $100-$200 more. Overall, ive had a great experience with this laptop and would recommend purchasing the newer model to anyone :)

This is the best gaming laptop for its price range, but it wont always make games reach its 144hz screen refresh. Another big problem is cooling. It thermal throttles a lot.

Amazing laptop ran every power end game but took its toll short of 2 years and the mother board went

I love this laptop. Im thrilled with the speed, graphics, gaming and overall features. I have added an additional hard disk to supplement the SSD. The only downside at all is the battery life. I dim the screen all the way and get maybe 1.5 hours from the battery while not gaming or streaming. Its worth it for the overall speed and use as long as you know what to expect.
