when you have played around 3 hours, the PC is hot and need a good cooler, I played dota 2 with mid graphics levels and the PC overheats, when played CS GO with mid graphics level, when you have around 1-2hour currently freezing the screen, I need go down the graphics level for game well

I was deployed for training for 6 months and needed a good laptop to handle anything I threw at it, including gaming. I have a desktop I built at home with high end components and wasn’t sure how the gtx1060 would fare in comparison. It’s able to play the same games I play on my duel gtx1070s and I’ve been able to keep the laptop relatively cool at around 77 degrees with settings on high or ultra. Screen is great, HD at 144hz and games run smooth. I see no screen tearing or any other issues.

Fast and quiet

Been using this for a bout a month now. the reviews I read warned about the heat that was produced especially over the WASD keys. I am happy to say that while Gaming the keyboard does warm up it is mild in comparison to what others have written about and the adjustable fan settings have made it not noticeable whatsoever. Graphics are unmatched, speed is exception. overall and excellent buy for the money. Would highly recommend.

Ive only had it for a few days, but so far I love it. I can actually play Dead by Daylight without any lag. I just installed an HDD and for some reason it didnt come with the screws to mount the caddy to the HDD, so I do have to order those (which is mildly annoying). Ill update this review as I use the laptop more and download the rest of my games.

It plays everything I throw at it well enough, and the the display is great... At least, it would be if mine didnt arrive with a stuck pixel out of the box that Ive been unable to fix. Dont know if its just my luck or if its something to be worried about for other buyers, but for how much I spent, it is a real letdown.

Started having issues 4 months in with it shutting itself down. Now it wont even read the battery and can only get it on while plugged in but gaming is definitely out of the question. Best part is the warranty by Acer expired the same month I bought it so I spent over a grand for a broken product that lasted long enough to be out of the Amazon warranty.

Runs games way to hard sometimes and overheats for no apparent reason even with the nice fans

Out of nowhere it won’t boot or work with more than 40% battery while charging which doesn’t let the GPU to boost making gaming painful.
