Excellent laptop......

I needed a new computer for gaming. I still like WoW. And my old computer couldnt handle it. SO MUCH LAG! But THIS computer....SO SMOOOOOOTH! And OMG! The GRAPHICS are AMAZING! I didnt know how DETAILED the world was before!!! Im even more in love with WoW. Finally I computer that works for my gaming. The heat isnt too bad. One place gets warm, but flat surface or desk, keeps it cool enough. NO heat warnings (Like my old one.) Fan works well! Now I can check out other games! My kids love the name, they think its cool it says Predator on laptop! So far, this computer is so much better than my old one, I cant find any negatives.

Ive had this laptop since 2019. Still works perfect for my GIS and AutoCAD related workload. People are exaggerating how hot this gets,its actually quite impressive for the price I paid $900. Upgraded it with an additional 2TB HDD sehate Firecuda. Dont hesitate to purchase it you wont regret it!

This lap top is awesome LED keyboard fast boot up time Great screen resolution and good graphics. Only two issues no matter what your doing this device has a short battery life lasting about 30min to an hour and wile playing games it will run way to hot to sit on your lap.

No issues, went to Best Buy and got a 500GB SSD, for 90 dollars, installed it with ease and made it the main game save file drive. Worth the price.

I am a student and a gamer. I put gamer in quotes as I do more school work than gaming, but this computer has made me want to do more gaming now than ever! The graphics are incredible, the modem is fast and I have had the best gaming experiences since its purchase. I absolutely love this machine!

This is the best you can get for the price. Ive had no problem running any games. It boots up super fast because of the SSD. Im not sure how people are having overheating problems. I havent had any, even running triple a games. Just be sure to set the fans to max and turn on coolboost through the predator sense if need be. I cant speak for durability because Ive only owned it for a month and a half but this is the best you can ask for in a laptop for this asking price.

Right speaker was not working. Amazon offered an exchange, but then changed it to a refund after I shipped it back. Not comfortable ordering another while I wait an unspecified time for the refund. I guess Ill just buy somewhere else.

As soon as this thing arrived I unboxed it to set things up. Right off the bat the screen started flickering. Youtube screen flickering Acer Predator Helios 300 for some examples of what this looks like. It flickered so bad that I could not browse the internet or play a game. I ended up repackaging it and returning it to Amazon that day. I called customer support and they could not fix it but said that theres a hardware issue and that I should mail it to them for repair. This would probably fix the issue, but why should I spend $1000 on a laptop that comes broken, and then wait weeks for it to be mailed, repaired, and returned for a chance that it will be fixed? Theres plenty of other laptops of this quality on the market around the same price that probably have a better build quality. I think the specs on this thing are incredible but its clear they achieved this by cutting costs elsewhere.
