Absolutely incredible laptop

I wanted a light content creation laptop; Photoshop, Lightroom, etc. I usually go with Dell XPS Studio or equivalent but there getting quite expensive. So when this came up on lightning deal I jumped on it.

This laptop is extremely fast and great for gaming. It has a colorful light-up keyboard and handles all the basic web browsing and document management needs but also packs quite a punch when it comes to playing games. Battery life is excellent and the built-in speakers sound great. Very powerful and functional gaming laptop.

Would be better if it didnt randomly die while gaming. Kind of defeats the whole purpose. It IS PLUGGED IN and dying while gaming brand new. (Update jan 9 2023, laptops motherboard died completely on me randomly and they say it will cost 300$ or more for a fix even with warranty. Wish i couldve saved my money.

Ive found its quite loud, even if Im just watching a movie the fans spin up quite a bit. Gaming they really lay it on, kind of annoying.

I was in the market for a new laptop, so when I saw this (through the Vine program), I ordered it. Id never owned an Acer computer before, so I didnt know what to expect. Im not a gamer, so its no doubt overkill for what I need, but what I love about it is that its so capable that it could be a substitute for my desktop computer, in a pinch. And since I rely on my computer to earn a living (Im a writer), thats important. My other laptops are either ancient and unable to be upgraded/updated (a 12-year-old Macbook Pro) or less than ideal (a small Lenovo convertible laptop/tablet).
