I purchased this during Prime Day and I couldnt be happier. No issues, runs every piece of software Ive thrown at it. Emulates games perfectly, the sound is surprisingly crisp for laptop speakers. 10/10 would recommend.

You will need a extra fan because the computer get too hot and the cooling fans dont keep it cool. After a year the power cord wont stay in the computer slot. very poor design

For the amount of money spent on this laptop, I was extremely disappointed. The display would constantly black out. Tried all the recommended work arounds that Acer has posted on their forums for this KNOWN issue. None of them lasted. I finally sent it back to Amazon and they graciously gave me a full refund. I would NOT recommend this laptop to anyone.

Yeah, thats it. WOW! This is a great laptop/desktop replacement. I have used it with an attached monitor, and with its own native screen. That screen is bright and responsive and with the included high end CPU and GPU, games play great.

I just got my Triton 500 yesterday (with the 2070 Super, couldnt afford to go higher). I have to say this thing is incredible! Ive been searching for a gaming laptop for awhile, and tried just about every one. This gaming PC has won the competition! It games like a dream. I cant believe its a laptop! It games the same as my desktop PC, if not better.

This thin laptop is a beast and weighs near nothing. Yes it can get warm while gaming, thats kind of obvious not sure why people are complaining about that when its meant for gaming/thin/a laptop. Ive plugged it into my 2560 curved monitor and it held its own like a desktop. Overall in love with this thing and hope it has some longevity in it! Highly recommend!

I got this laptop five months ago. From the first time I turned it on Ive had issues with the monitor and screen tearing on start up. Luckily that issue only happens when I first turn it on. Ive also had issues with any time it times out and the screen goes into rest mode or a dark screen it will freeze there and I will have to hard shut down the laptop. Then about 2 months into owning this laptop the wifi card died. Now 5 months in the USB ports have stopped working. Its possible I could have gotten a dud from the factory but my personal experience has been horrible.

On paper, the Predator Triton 500 SE seems like the ideal powerhouse laptop, and it very well could be for advanced content creators. The most demanding gamers, however, will need to decide if the power-constrained graphics chip is a worthwhile trade-off for the laptop’s thin and light design.
