> 3 dayAn excellent PC laptop at this price. However, two omissions, one truly frustrating, prevents a top rating. Most aggravating: no hardware indication that CAPS LOCK is on! No indicator light. You find out when your repeated password entry attempts fail! Acer thought that a software-based symbol that flashes on the screen for one second would be sufficient. Not only does that not take into account not noticing in time, or forgetting, but it doesnt even work. It did when I first launched the computer, then never again. Tech support guided me to installing something, which brought it back, not not after the next time I started up. My solution is to keep Note Pad on standby to test the keys before entering anything that is case sensitive. I become angry every time!

> 3 dayHonestly hate this thing. It’s slower than my old MacBook Air I bought in 2016. It’s only been a few months and the laptop keeps showing errors. The only things I’ve even downloaded on here are tableau, and some files for school. Such a waste and I wish I could return this crap

Greater than one weekLots of quality features at a bargain price. Great AMD Ryzen chip—fast! Fingerprint reader is awesome. My only complaint is not with the machine but that it’s loaded with so much crappy software that makes it difficult to load your own. Small sacrifice of time though for a super fast and low priced computer.

> 3 dayWhile this computer is very fast, there are some problems with it that I find irritaing. The keyboard keys are very hard to see in the daytime. The power supply connection is very poor and Ive already replaced the power cord once. It has very poor sound level.

> 3 dayI loved the laptop fast bright color. The only reason I returned it was I needed more memory.

> 3 dayAcer put together a nice little 14” laptop in the Swift 3. The brushed aluminum chassis is compact and lightweight, rivaling the weight and form factor of my 11-inch Chromebook. The IPS display has good brightness, color depth, contrast and the matte finish helps greatly reduce glare. The FHD resolution is plenty sharp at this size and looks sharper, more crisp and more vivid than many larger screens running at the same 1920 X 1080 resolution. Display integrity is also good with no backlight bleeding, bad pixels or other observable faults. It is not a touchscreen, much to my delight. The primary internal components include a Ryzen 7 CPU, 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, Radeon Vega 8 GPU and a 512GB NVMe drive. This hardware config provides the Swift with snappy performance that excels at multi-tasking. The Swift 3 can easily accommodate numerous running applications and open browser tabs simultaneously as well as light gaming and light to moderate photo/video editing. Wireless performance also works well. The internal Wifi and Bluetooth adapters connect quickly and reliably and maintain a stable connection with my WiFi 6 router and Bluetooth devices. I use a Bluetooth mouse with the Swift regularly and have yet to experience a dropped connection. Battery life is good and I can get a full day of non-continuous use for productivity tasks. Obviously, mileage will vary depending on usage. Fan noise is non-existent during most basic desktop use and only really appears when the system is heavily taxed.

Greater than one weekThe screen is nice but thats about it... Like others have said the fact it does not have a a caps lock indicator is annoying... Everytime I try to update I get the blue screen and it has to revert to previous version... None of the USB ports recognize an SD card... I did alot of research to find a portable laptop that had a decent amount of computing power for work/school and a nice screen... This thing is a piece of junk, had to go back to my old HP that is over 10 old and works better. Not even sure what to do with my swift 3 paper weight!

> 3 dayMy Dells charging system failed - the cord kept falling out, then it quit taking a charge - while under warranty. After speaking to half of India I was told my warranty didnt cover that part. LOL, this is the 3rd Dell laptop with the same problem. So, after 20 years of buying Dells, I bought this ACER.
