> 3 dayThe Mac I was using was old and I decided against buying another when they changed the port sizes. I was looking for something similar, and this Acer has been great so far. Its light, bright, fast and has very good battery life. My last Acer never died. It lasted over 10 years and just became obsolete. I hope they are still building computers with that sort of quality.

Greater than one weekBought two of these for a business. They feel really solid for the price! Dont plan on using them for more than streaming YouTube and Zoom calls. They will far exceed that necessity.

The return policy stated I could return without the original packaging. When I did, the seller only refunded 50% of the cost. Beware of this seller! The return policy is not clearly stated!

07-06-202511 month update: still overheating a lot. Even with elevation, fans, and nothing else running. Sometimes it will run Valheim just fine, then sometimes it just cuts out, losing all my progress. I really wish they didnt skimp on the ram. I cant wait to build my own rig. If it would just warn me when it is overheating, Id be happy. But no, it just shuts off. I hate this laptop. It makes me sad, considering how excited I was originally.

> 3 dayDont buy this product, and dont use this third party seller HIMALAYAS.LLC. Please note the large number of Blue Screen of Death reports for this product. There is a WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR hardware issue with this thing where CPU timing causes crashes... this occurred with a brand new system with all software updates applied. The PC did run for several hours without a problem, but I experienced problems when room temperatures were near 60 degrees C (we had a cold front and office was cold). Blue screen of death every 5 minutes... could not work at all. I ran memory and disk checks and there were no problems. I returned the device within a week and the crappy 3rd party seller charged an $85 restocking fee stating that the device worked well. I followed up with them and again detailed my experience, and again they simply replied the device works well. Not only is the AMD chipset acting flakey, HIMALAYAS is restocking FAULTY DEVICES and you may be the next victim. Keep looking and save yourself hours of troubleshooting and an $85 restocking fee!
