> 3 dayOne week at home so far, and Ive used ours a decent amount. Theyre soft and lightweight, so we use it to swaddle her when we want a lighter option. The patterns are also super cute, and the blanket is larger than traditional swaddle blankets so you have more room to play with - also more fabric if youre still getting the hang of swaddling. Im sure we will continue to use them for the next few years at least.

> 3 dayI didnt realize just how much wed love these when i registered for a set before my first baby. They are beautiful swaddles, lightweight and wash up well. We use them nightly to swaddle our July-born baby (they are not too hot), as well as to prop his head up with breastfeeding, cover in stroller, car seat and swing, and lay him on for diaper changes, tummy time, etc. I love them so much I bought another set so I have 8 which is perfect. The rockstar set is much softer than the high seas - I think because of the print. Our baby is starting to be a little tall for the full body swaddle at 6 weeks (11 lb, 24 in) - we just tuck the tail end of swaddle into the swaddle fold as opposed to over the shoulder. He can break out of these swaddles once he wakes up but Im ok with that as hes in the bassinet right next to me so I can hear him waking as he grunts to bust out :). These keep his legs nice and compact as opposed to the sleepsack which restrains arms better but with his little legs flailing he was always waking up. Some babies also self soothe with hands so its nice he can get them out if he really needs to. Perfect registry/new baby gift.

> 3 dayI LOVE these blankets. I was skeptical, thinking Do I really need expensive swaddle blankets? The answer? I bought 4 more as they are in constant use. They are light, breathable and soft. The lightness will be perfect for summer, but I doubled the blankets to use in the winter. The blanket rolls up so small, one is constantly in my diaper bag. Ive started using this instead of my nursing cover, and I think it even works better. My colicky baby only sleeps with her eyes covered, and with the breathable nature of these blankets, Im much more comfortable to swaddle her with a little hood to cover her eyes (dont worry, shes well monitored!). The generous size is key, too. It makes it so easy to swaddle. When my baby was a newborn, I folded them in half to form a triangle and swaddled that way, but now shes bigger, I fold down the top corner. Theres plenty of room. Im sure I can still swaddle her up to a year, if she needs it (like her brother did!) Also, check out Double Swaddle on youtube, as recommended by another reviewer. Its a great way to secure the wiggly older babies who still enjoy swaddling for sleep. I say, go for it!

> 3 dayFirst of all, I will say these are great blankets...big, breathable, cute, etc. but if youve read any of the other reviews, you already know all of that. Heres what I wished I had read before I purchased: 1. If you are like me, you have no idea what the heck muslin is. Well, as they say, its a soft breathable cotton. The best way to describe it is like a cotton gauze, much like the material used in burp cloth diapers. The exception is, this is much higher quality, making it stronger than gauze, and its only 1 ply, so its more breathable than a cloth diaper. 2. This listing is confusing, because it mixes up the wraps and the blankets. If you want the larger 47x47 wraps, then go for the ones that have $49.99 listed as the list price. If you want the smaller 42x42, then go for the ones with the list price of $34.99. 3. What is so great about these blankets? I was trying to figure out why everyone was so in love with these things, and heres what Ive deduced...these are MUCH larger than other swaddling blankets, and also much thinner. So, you can wrap your baby up in a nice tight swaddle, with the blanket wrapped completely around them and under their back and they are not too bulky. If you were to have a typical swaddling blanket of the same size, by the time you wrapped up the baby, they probably wouldnt fit in the bassinet, and their head would be 4 inches off the ground. 4. You still have to have swaddling skills. This is not like a swaddleme or sleep sack swaddler. No velcro, no magic. Personally, I am a terrible swaddler and my baby was out of this blanket in 6 minutes flat the first time I used it. But Im getting better. I have no choice, since my rather large 3 month old has outgrown all of the magical swaddling options. All in all though, a nice functional set of blankets. And I have no doubt these will still be getting tons of use while the swaddlemes have long been donated away.

> 3 dayThese Harry Potter themed swaddle blankets are the best! I can’t wait to try them on our girls when they are released from the nicu. They’re super soft and large enough for a good swaddle! The design is also darling.

> 3 dayWe really love the material because even after several times of wash, its still elastic and very easy for me to swaddle the baby firmly. We also have Hudson Baby Swaddle blanket, after the first wash, the blanket cannot swaddle that baby well, my baby could easily get rid of the blanket even after I tried hard to swaddle her. Id suggest this over the other brands although its a little pricey, but you get the quality you need.

> 3 dayWe received several Aden + Anais swaddle blankets as gifts for my daughter before she was born, so I ordered these when we found out our second little one is a boy. They came in handy for many different uses outside of the basic swaddle - nursing cover, burp cloth, toy, etc. They were my go-to blanket to keep an extra back-up in the car and diaper bag since they are light weight and dont take up much room. Cute patterns for my soon-to-be son, also! They seem to be rather stiff out of the package, but hoping they soften up with more use like my daughters.

> 3 dayAden + anais has a less expensive version of blanket, but they are made for Target etc. and are smaller and less quality. I suggest buying these more expensive muslin blankets. Its so worth it! Wish I hadnt wasted money on other receiving blankets. They are light weight and airy, it feels like youre wrapped in a cloud. I live in Hawaii where its moist and warm so these blankets are absolutely perfect. They allow your skin to breathe. The blankets are still warm when its chilly. You determine the temp of them by how many layers you use. They are large and versatile. I use them as a quick nursing cover up when its hot out and my shall is too warm. They work great as a car seat cover from the wind or sprinkle. They are also great for laying on the grass in the park for some outdoor time with baby. The designs are super cute and I wont be buying any other kind of receiving blanket and will buy them for my friends whom are expecting!

> 3 dayWhen I first came across these (at Target) I could not believe the price! 4 little thin blankets for $29.99!! I did not buy them at first, but the next couple of months I kept seeing Moms with these blankets. When I would ask the other Moms about the blankets (mainly venting on how high the price is) 9 times out of 10 the response was It was a gift, but I love them. After reading all the reviews I decided to order a set. I ordered the paparazzi print which matched perfectly with my Chicco Keyfit 30 car seat in Cubes. I liked the size of the blankets and I thought these would be perfect to put over the car seat covering baby but letting air flow through. I was very satisfied with these! After a week or so I ordered a second set. These blankets are perfect for in the house. We mainly got those thick, soft blankets having a winter baby in Colorado. What people didnt realize is my house is 72 degrees inside all year so having a thick blanket would overheat him not to mention the risk of suffocation. These are the only blankets I allow in the crib. They are safe!!! My 2 1/2 year old also loves these blankets. They are big enough for her. They hold up very well. I wash them once a week and I have had them for about 6 months now. P.S. Seventh Generation laundry soap which is easy on clothes. I am only giving them 4 stars because of the price. I think $29.99 is fair and if your not to picky with the print you can get a set for that price. I wish they where all the same price. I really like the Liam the Brave print but I cant justify spending $20 more!! Muslin is cheap so I can only imagine the mark up in these.

> 3 dayMy daughter is already 2 y.o. I still use it as a blanket for her. She loves it. Caring it everywhere. The quality is just superb. I machine wash it every day and after 2+ years it is just like a new. My baby and I just love it.
