Greater than one weekAs a new mom I was struggling when swaddling my son. He would always come out of the swaddle! I even started to say my son hated to be swaddled. Until a friend swaddled him and he slept like a baby!!!! She recommended these and it was God send. The blanket is long and light enough that made swaddling easy. Since it its so big, in a way it grows with the baby. Ive been able to swaddle him since he was 2 weeks old and continue to do it now at 4 months (but now we swaddle him with the hands outside). I also used it to cover my son from the sun when we are in the car, as a tummy time blanket and lately (apparently) as a chewing toy as my son loves to sucks on it. One of the best baby gear investments we have made.

> 3 dayI have loved these blankets since I babysat my friends daughter and she always had one with her. We used one from this pack as one of the backdrops for my sons newborn pictures and it worked perfect!

19-11-2024These are huge! I felt crazy for splurging on blankets because it seems like thats what baby always gets as gifts! I am so glad I did! These are the 47 x 47 set and great for a nursing cover and car seat cover in the summer as well as just great breathable but cozy blanket. This size was a little to much fabric for my 7 lb 4 oz newborn to be swaddled in (however I do not claim to be the swaddle master), but youre in luck because aden + anais makes smaller ones 44x44 and 42x42 so just keep an eye out! These are a must have

> 3 dayWe use this day in and day out and have given away it donated the other brands of swaddle blankets we received. These are all you need, soft, just enough stretch to get a comfortable wrap, the perfect size for even a larger baby, adorable colors, and absorbent when you inevitably have to use it to mop up some spit up.

> 3 dayOh my gosh how I love these blankets! My son is 9 months old and Ive been using them since he was brought home from the hospital. He was born in August (and Im from Alabama so the heat was extreme) and was able to swaddle him in these without him burning up. They are very thin and allow for air flow, but not so thin that it wont keep a newborn warm. My son still loves to cuddle with these blankets. Theyve held up very well over the last 9 months. I havent had any problems at all with them. They are fine in the washer and dryer with baby clothes. And they are super, super soft. A word of caution, make sure you get the ones that say 47X47, because then you know you are getting the more expensive boutique blankets. The smaller ones arent as good of quality and I found that you cant swaddle your baby for nearly as long because they quickly outgrow them (my son liked to be swaddled until he was about 8 months, so I definitely needed the larger ones). I would highly recommend these. They may be expensive for baby blankets but they are SOOOOO worth it. Especially since these are the only blankets you need.

> 3 dayI have come to love aden + anais. I also have the aden by a+a musy squares which I also love but not much of the other aden by a+a, but love aden + anais. I own quite a few things different styles n what not. I loved these Jungle book theme blankets since they were released, I saw the price go down and purchased immediately. Now I notice with the muslin swaddle blankets -even from other brands- different prints may have different texture or be softer than another, for example an all white or solid color seems to be softer than the others. I have a+a swaddles with prints; Like whiz kid set which has colors and different prints and those are still soft but these Jungle book ones just seem so rough. Theyre pretty but, I probably wouldnt purchase these if I knew what I know now. Idk if some just turn out that way bc I have seen in the past people get the same set as myself & leave a not great review, saying they arent soft while mine are dreamy soft, So idk, maybe depends on preference or personal opinion, maybe some batches come out slightly differently which idk how thatd happen but just saying, I dont know. I am keeping them anyways. cute for the boys & as far as I know so far these swaddles hold up and last a long time and my boys will snuggle them all for quite some time!

20-11-2024Ive used several different kinds of baby blankets and receiving blankets for our first boy and found that nothing could keep him swaddled and comfortable especially during the summer months. I finally purchased the aden + anais swaddles from Target and those were great. We could get a tight swaddle when he was little and once he didnt need to be swaddled anymore, we could still use them as blankets. After 2 years, he still loves them! With baby #2, we decided to go with the classic ones since they are larger and love them just as much (if not more). Although they are more expensive, I have a closet full of baby blankets that were only used a couple of times and added up, costs a lot more than these. After a few months, they are getting softer and softer and is a great all around blanket. I use it to swaddle him, cover the car seat carrier, nursing cover and always keep one in the diaper bag. The patterns are very cute and love the animal print...it gives just enough color and playfulness to them.

> 3 dayOur son is obsessed with these blankets. We have so many and needed to update some that have gotten quite dirty. These are such a good price. The only thing is one of the blankets came snagged and has put a hole in it and it’s starting to unravel. I’ve never had this happen before.

Greater than one weekFirst of all, I will say these are great blankets...big, breathable, cute, etc. but if youve read any of the other reviews, you already know all of that. Heres what I wished I had read before I purchased: 1. If you are like me, you have no idea what the heck muslin is. Well, as they say, its a soft breathable cotton. The best way to describe it is like a cotton gauze, much like the material used in burp cloth diapers. The exception is, this is much higher quality, making it stronger than gauze, and its only 1 ply, so its more breathable than a cloth diaper. 2. This listing is confusing, because it mixes up the wraps and the blankets. If you want the larger 47x47 wraps, then go for the ones that have $49.99 listed as the list price. If you want the smaller 42x42, then go for the ones with the list price of $34.99. 3. What is so great about these blankets? I was trying to figure out why everyone was so in love with these things, and heres what Ive deduced...these are MUCH larger than other swaddling blankets, and also much thinner. So, you can wrap your baby up in a nice tight swaddle, with the blanket wrapped completely around them and under their back and they are not too bulky. If you were to have a typical swaddling blanket of the same size, by the time you wrapped up the baby, they probably wouldnt fit in the bassinet, and their head would be 4 inches off the ground. 4. You still have to have swaddling skills. This is not like a swaddleme or sleep sack swaddler. No velcro, no magic. Personally, I am a terrible swaddler and my baby was out of this blanket in 6 minutes flat the first time I used it. But Im getting better. I have no choice, since my rather large 3 month old has outgrown all of the magical swaddling options. All in all though, a nice functional set of blankets. And I have no doubt these will still be getting tons of use while the swaddlemes have long been donated away.

> 3 dayI super love these pretty swaddle blanket! It’s big, feels soft and very useful. I use it for my baby as a swaddling blanket and I use it during breast pumping, very versatile! My baby and I can still use these forever! Lol! I have 6 blankets and I love to have more of these!
