> 3 dayI was hesitant to spend more money on these name brand blankets, but I am SO glad I did. My son sweats like CRAZY in the night and has since he was born. (He is now 4 months old.) I was looking for a swaddle blanket that was breathable, yet LARGE, because my son already weighs over 15 pounds. Every blanket I used was too small, and the bigger ones werent breathable, and he would sweat like crazy in them. I am in LOVE with these blankets. They are so large that they will comfortably swaddle him as he continues to grow! And they are breathable. So although I wrap him around and around multiple times, the swaddle doesnt feel thick all around him. It is fantastic. Our son never breaks out of these blankets either because we do the straight jacket swaddle technique. (Not cruel at all!) Look it up on YouTube if your baby keeps breaking out of the swaddle. I tell you, this technique is amazing! I love how easy these blankets are to wash, and I love how soft they are when they come out of the dryer. These blankets have truly been fantastic. Im REALLY glad I got four. I always have at least one to use if/when the others are in the laundry hamper. I recommend these to ALL MOMS. This is a really great product.

> 3 dayWe went a little overboard with our first child back in 2012, and we bought (no joke) six sets, when the price went down from the retail 49 to around 34-35 per box of four blankets. We litter ally use them for everything. We use them as a swaddle, a cover for breastfeeding/pumping, cover on changing pad, cover for public restroom changing tables, stroller cover, infant carrier cover, light blnket to cover our daughters legs when the sun hits .... we use it to cover the boppy when she would be propped up on it... used it in her crib as a crib sheet when she was in the nicu, the neonatologist was amazed at how soft the blankies were..... two years later - they clearly arent used as much but still soft, still used as emergency light blankets that get carried in the backpack for all outings, one in the stroller at all times and one in the car used as a changing pad for when we need to change her diaper in the SUV trunk. none of the blankies have been damaged, or issues of stitching coming out, its almost like the first day we purchased them except tey are softer with all the washes..... we buy them as gifts for friends and family who are expecting as a MUST have item

Greater than one weekThis was one of my splurge items that I purchased during my first pregnancy. They seemed a bit on the pricey side (and I was on a tight budget), but had such good reviews that I decided to give them a try, and Im glad I did. These were perfect to wrap my baby in during the hot summer nights when he was a newborn. (we dont have AC) Our other swaddle blankets were too thick and hot for swaddling, and our son would NOT sleep unless he was wrapped up. As my baby has grown Ive transitioned to using these to cover the stroller and protect him from the sun, and I use them in grocery store shopping carts instead of buying a specialty cover that Id have to lug around. They are very breathable, and they can roll up to very compact size which is convenient for bringing them on trips. My original pack of 4 blankets has held up to weekly washes for the past 9 months, and looks like they will survive to be used for baby number 2.

> 3 dayI just purchased these original Aden & Anais swaddles. Shipping and packaging was great. The print on these swaddles is adorable! Bright colors and super cute patterns. However, Im not so sure about the quality. The Swaddle Designs muslin swaddle blankets I have for my daughter are much softer and less gauze-like. They are tightly woven but still breathable so you dont see any little holes and they dont rip. When stretched, you dont see any holes. These A+A swaddles I just received are a bit more rough but hoping theyll soften after a few washes. Also, the weave seems more open and has very visible holes which Im afraid may tear or rip after a few uses or washes. I got these on sale but I wouldnt pay full price for them. The quality seems the same as the cheaper Target version (Aden by aden+anais). Only the price tag is higher for the original A+A swaddles (which is a shame because these are supposed to be better quality, hence the higher price). My son isnt here yet but Ill update the review if these dont hold up as well as Im hoping they do.

> 3 dayThese are a must-have new baby item. We use them for everything - car seat blankets, burp cloths, and swaddling! They are the perfect all-around, any-time-of-year blanket to use for babies of all ages. They are probably the safest and easiest-to-use swaddling blanket (and if you dont know how to swaddle, learn how now because it is what is helping our baby sleep through the night). For us, the pre-made swaddling contraptions (SwaddleMe, Miracle Blanket, etc) dont work because our daughter is a little Houdini and can easily break out of those. However, when we use A+A blankets and wrap her securely, she is snug as a bug and falls asleep instantly. The light-weight cotton is the safest material for a baby and makes this blanket perfect for all times of year. During the cold months we are using the blankets in conjunction with a sleep sack so baby can be swaddled and also warm. These are seriously the item we have used the most during our first 5 weeks. I freak out when they all simultaneously end up in the wash, so just ordered another set. They have been well worth the money. They will also be the item that Ill be purchasing for friends expecting a new baby. I initially thought $50 for blankets was absurd, but they are worth it.

> 3 dayThese muslin blankets are a life saver. My little guy loves how they feel and it they help him to calm down. They are huge for swaddling and are nice and light weight to use as a cover. We take ours everywhere! I babywear my little guy so when we were at the zoo I wanted to protect his legs from the sun so we put this over his legs. We put this in the shopping cart with him, to protect the areas the cart cover does not cover. We have washed these many times and they are not showing any major signs of wear. We love them, and have bought other muslin items for him due to this.

> 3 dayWe ordered this based on another review about it being bigger then the one sold at Target. Its true the ones made for Target are several inches smaller. Bigger the better and Ill tell you why. Not only will the extra size grow with your babies rapid growth but it comes in handy for just about everything. Breastfeeding: when my wife breastfeed in public areas it becomes a great cover. Baby stays cool underneath because the material allows air to pass freely through it. Swaddle blanket: it is awesome as a swaddler, our baby like being wrapped tight but she is also on the always hot side of things and once again allowing air to pass through is a plus+++ Its is extremely soft and comfortable so much so that i found myself using it to cover up one day and used it as a pillow many times. I highly reccommend this product. Not to mention as a gift it keeps on giving.

Greater than one weekOh my gosh how I love these blankets! My son is 9 months old and Ive been using them since he was brought home from the hospital. He was born in August (and Im from Alabama so the heat was extreme) and was able to swaddle him in these without him burning up. They are very thin and allow for air flow, but not so thin that it wont keep a newborn warm. My son still loves to cuddle with these blankets. Theyve held up very well over the last 9 months. I havent had any problems at all with them. They are fine in the washer and dryer with baby clothes. And they are super, super soft. A word of caution, make sure you get the ones that say 47X47, because then you know you are getting the more expensive boutique blankets. The smaller ones arent as good of quality and I found that you cant swaddle your baby for nearly as long because they quickly outgrow them (my son liked to be swaddled until he was about 8 months, so I definitely needed the larger ones). I would highly recommend these. They may be expensive for baby blankets but they are SOOOOO worth it. Especially since these are the only blankets you need.
