Amazon Basics 3 Speed Box Fan, 20-Inch

If you are in the market for an inexpensive box fan that screeches like an eagle snatching salmon upstream, then look no further! Bought two in May. Threw them both away within 6 months. Not a great buy, but maybe youll have more luck than I did.

This baby can crank the cool air across a big room! It has 3 fan speeds of low, medium, and high. The lowest speed is more than enough for a large room. The only downside is it is loud. I would still buy another one cause it works so well.

Very, very quiet and low powered. I got this for ambient noise but the output is ridiculously low. At double the price of any regular box fan, I really expected more, but it turned out to be just another disappointment.

Received on 03/30/2023 Its 05/28/2023! It just stop working! Unplug it & moved it to sweep & Moo & plugged it back in & no longer will come on! It was not dirty, as it was dusted off with a paint brush & a damp wash cloth! Its quieter than other box fans, which I liked, however, it does not have the air flow, the other box fans have either!!! I definitely will not purchase another for $40! Its not worth it & you can not simply take apart, if you wanted to, to clean in a high dust environment!!! With lasko box fans, 6-screws to each side, pop blade off, wash it all, while the casing with motor with a damp wash cloth & use a paint brush to dust off motor & put it back together!!!

Decent light weight but I use it for noise at night and its very quite n not very powerful so to me not worth the money I spent I needed 2 glad I only bought one I will not order another one if these ones

We got about 6 months out of this fan before it started squeaking like crazy. I cleaned the fan every month or so with compressed air to get all the dust out (like I do with all our fans). I have a basic box fan from Walmart for less money that has lasted years.

The two feet snapped right on. It has 3 speeds and runs as quiet as can be reasonably expected. I was worried about sturdiness, size, sound, and am quite pleased regarding all three. With so many different fans of every shape and style, its a daunting task to find a solid choice. I feel very lucky to have made this one.

The rounded edges on this fan make it very difficult to put in a window and hold there. Also since it doesnt fit well, it kept falling out of the window and eventually one of the fan blades snapped off. Would not recommend, and just get one of the boxier options instead.
