> 3 dayI bought this for white noise, but it was very quiet. The fan worked well, but not what I needed.

> 3 dayThe only thing I dont know about this is how long it will last. It is ideal for my house and my weather. I dont have air conditioning and this fan keeps me cool--as cool is it can, which is fine. I like the way it looks and its settings give me the air flow I need. It may be basic but its just right.

> 3 dayto begin needed it for circulation in the shop as a quick fix so it works well for that purposes after may put in a bag sealed and set on the shelf if you use on any hard or slick surfaces at higher speeds it will tip over no big had some weights that worked perfectly or used the door frame started warming up again and pulled it out worked fine for the couple hours a day I used it until the 6th day were the motor seized noticed a little dust on the fan blades so attempted to clean. well this is not ment to be cleaned at all the housing comes of with the 8 Philips head screws however the blade is form fitted and the retention nut more for show as the plastics seem factory fussed together over all worked well for a one time shop use and would likely work well for a clean home without environmental factors

Greater than one weekSo, the biggest worry I have for window fans is the noise. This thing isnt silent, but it is much quieter than the standard window fan. It is also very powerful - even on the lowest setting. That was unexpected. On the one hand, this is great because I get too hot to sleep during the summer. On the other hand, I am very aware that there is a fan blowing on me. If youre sensitive to that sort of thing (as I am), you might actually prefer a lower power fan. I like the design. I think the handle is built into the fan box itself, and it looks like the cord is placed better inside the fan box. Overall, its was a cheap little purchase to replace our 15 yr old Lasko fan. This little guy probably wont last as long, which is a shame, but I havent had it that long yet. Who knows?

> 3 dayThe humble box fan. Its a basic unit to be sure, lightweight, plastic construction, but, it does move a fair amount of air. You get three speeds with pretty quiet operation. Attach the feet at the bottom and you are ready to go. Great for personal use in your office during summer.

> 3 dayIts inexpensive, and strong-I $aved alot of $$ by CREATING my OWN Air Purifier: i bought MERV-13 20 x20 x1 air filters, and BLU Painters tape (no sticky residue when removed) and TAPED the AIR FILTER to the intake side of the fan. Now not only is mt house COOLER, its EASIER TO BREATHE since the STUFF I DONT need to inhale is TRAPPED! Total cost for 3 months of healthy, moving air=552.30 (Fan $36.89, Filter $10.92, Tape $4.49) and then only $10.92 each 3 months afterwards (change to a new filter) Compare THAT to commercial purifiers--andd this is PORTABLE. # Speed AND STYLISH! I STRONGLY RECCOMMEND THIS!
