Amazon Basics 8-Outlet Power Strip Surge Protector, 4,500 Joule - 6-Foot Cord, Black/Green

Bought this Surge Protector to Protect my Maytag Washing Machine, add extra outlets in the garage..

This AmazonBasics 8 outlet surge suppressor is a good product. Its configured nicely to be able to handle a variety of regular plugs and also those annoying wall bricks/transformers that take up too much space.

Exactly as advertised. Will but again.

It worked as I had hoped allowing both the Router and Shop Vacuum to be run simultaneously.

Works great however the glowing blue light when it is plugged it can be annoying if you need your room pitch black to sleep.

Lost 3 electronic components plunged into this unit green light still on and no sign of protection lost a projector DVD player and an Amazon fire stick not happy

Works well and at a good value!

Great but! Highly recommend.

Apparently the only negative reviews were mostly due to the green light; however, that was NOT my problem. I found it almost impossible to get any size plug to fit into this without using more pressure than I would expect to be needed. In fact so much pressure to get them in I was afraid theyd break off. Both type of plugs and same problem. Is there something I should have done?
