I am using this in my basement with my cable modem router and NAS. While it does have a green light on it it fits right in with everything else because everything else has green lights on it as well. I would not use this in my bedroom or other places where the light would be visible at all times but in the basement its fine. Im also glad that it has the 4500 joules of protection because thats what electronic devices need. The outlets are too close together but it doesnt matter to me because I only have three things plugged in.

There is a glow strip that lights up green when it’s on. It is super bright. Enough to disturb sleep. Going back.
