Amazon Basics 8-Outlet Power Strip Surge Protector, 4,500 Joule - 6-Foot Cord, Black/Green

A few months ago, an electric transformer blew up about 2 miles form our home, it took out all our smoke detectors and 2 out of three surge protectors I had protecting our computers. I replaced the 2 surge protectors with the Amazon Basics 8 outlet surge protector. It looks like another transient spike came down the line, it took out the last nonAmazon Basic surge protector. My replacement Amazon basic surge protectors survived the hit and no equipment was lost. I replaced my last blown surge protector with an Amazon Basics surge protector. So would I buy one again, I just did.

I purchased a couple of these after reading an article. I didn’t know you should replace surge protectors. I’ve had mine forever. I still need to replace a few more.

Great Built and easy to read indicators lights. I am using this power supply in my music workspace. This product will work well in any setup.

The socket doesn’t fit well

No problems with this pier strip. It’s solid, seems safe, and the light didn’t bother me since w spit it behind the tv. Buy it.

The plugs are great....... but the glowing green light is too bright!

I bought this and a tower surge protector with the idea that I would return whichever one I didnt like as much. I kept both. The tower is my favorite but this one works well too. It has a long cord which I needed and plenty of outlets. There is enough space to plug many sizes of plugs but some block plugs do cover an additional outlet.
