Amazon Basics 8-Outlet Power Strip Surge Protector, 4,500 Joule - 6-Foot Cord, Black/Green

I love it. Power plugs for electronics are getting larger and plug in at strange angles. We have had 8 outlet strips that we could not get 4 plugs into. This strip is large enough, and the outlets are spaced far enough apart to make it easy to plug in everything we need. Plus, the 10 ft. cord makes placement a breeze.

I lossed a few electronic pieces and feel safe with the rating of this power strip.

I just put it up in my home office. Takes all the plugs I have and leaves some for me to use. I cant give it a 5 star because I just plugged it up. I like the light.

It’s impossible to use all 8 outlets. 5-6 are max if you get lucky and solve the puzzle. This surge protector is way too small for 8 outlets. I’m going to return and use a bigger one. If you have 6-8 devices, don’t buy this.

Don’t buy unless you want or don’t mind adding a very bright green nightlight to wherever you put this. This surge protector has a bright, green light that can’t be turned off unless you turn off the whole surge protector. It’s intended to show it’s grounded and protected. But in the dark, it lights up the whole room brighter than most night lights.

I have only good things to say about this product! I have seen other reviews stating the green light is too bright, however, I use this product in my bedroom at night and have no issues trying to fall asleep. All the outlets work in the power strip and the green light shows the surge protector is on as well. Im very pleased to know I can plug in my laptops, echo device and other powerful electronics without fear of my devices being fried. Also, this power cord is approved up to 4500 joules which means the power cord can absorb the energy needed for large devices. Highly recommend!
