Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Best I have ever had

A good, durable and (most importantly, imo) *hard* shell case. My Toshiba Canvio Connect 2TB Portable HD (HDTC720XK3C1), along with the Toshiba supplied 18 data cable, fits this case to near perfection.

This case was being cross-marketed with the Toshiba Canvio Basics 2Tb drive I recently purchased. Since I was planning to get a case and this one was reasonably priced, I decided to go for it. The case is constructed similar to the cases Ive been carrying point-and-shoot cameras around in for years. Its rigid, but not hard; if the case was dropped, it would have some give that would absorb the shock of the fall. Its sized right for the drive--it has a little wiggle room so its easy to get the drive in and out, but not so much that the drive will move around. The elastic band holds the drive in place while making it easy to remove the drive when using it and the pouch on the other side is perfect for holding a couple of cables.

Very good case for the WD portable hard drives. If you drop your hard drive this will definitely keep it from becoming junk and lost of your data. The price was not to bad either. I would definitely purchase another one.
