I think this came as a bonus with the Toshiba Canvio Basics 2TB portable hard drive I bought. Ive never used it, but it seems okay. Main problem is to find a place for it to avoid yet more clutter around my computers.

I liked mine so much Ive been recommending it to clients that take their backup drives off site at night. The drives fit perfectly in the case and they are well protected. I use this daily and it looks as good as the day I got it, very well made

Ive now bought five of these, after buying my first one about a year ago. Before I started using a case, my little external hard drives would always be dented or scratched up. These cases are light weight, great quality, and do a great job of protecting my drives (essential in my field). They have a pocket for your drive and another for your cable, so youll always be set to go when you need one. And Ive attached labels to the outside of each of my cases (since I have so many) and they have all held up well. Inexpensive and does exactly what I need.

Perfect and excellent quality for the price. Sturdy, will protect the drive if dropped. Considering the price of the drive, I wish it had come with it.

Hard shell, with interior lined in orange. opens easily and one side has a mesh pouch for the lead and the other a thick elastic strap that keeps the hard drive secure. It also cost next to nothing - always a bonus! I love it.

This is a good case for the average user. Overall I think the durability is worth 4 stars. It’s not the hardest case available, but hard enough to protect against minor bumps. It works well for my use and will protect my hard drive from scratches. Fits WD My Passport perfectly.
